My Academic Life at Krea University Chittoor

Overall Rating
My personal experience at Krea University so far has been good. The kind of opportunities, campus culture, and faculty has really impressed me. The main reason I chose this University because I wanted freedom in my course. It offers a wide range of courses to the students. You can also take admission in this University. It is located at Sri City Andhra Pradesh.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing Bachelor of Arts (B.A) (Hons.). We have the option to choose major and minor subjects. I'm planning to choose Economics and Data Science. The eligibility criteria are very simple. Admission process includes a very detailed process in which you need to write an essay, an exam, and appear for the interview. 2 exams are conducted in a year such as mid semester exams and end semester exams. Overall, the academics are good.
The tution fee is Rs. 8,50,000/-. The admission fee is Rs. 35,000/-. Scholarships and financial aid both are provided to the students. Scholarships depend on how well you do in your academics.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members at Krea University teach the students very well. Most of them have done Ph.D in their subjects. Most of them teach us with the help of PPTs, blackboards, etc. They also conduct group discussion. The teachers are very experience and they what they are teaching. The students to teacher ratio vary from course to course. They are very approachable and supportive. They also help us in our research work.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a placement cell. It invites the companies to the University campus and conduct sessions to make the students understand about it. They also share different internships and job forms to the students. Most of the people go for higher education. Many popular companies visit the campus.
 

Hostel Rating
We do have residential facilities here. The hostel has many rooms. Girls’ and boys’ hostels are separate. Mess is available which serves good food. Various hostel facilities are available such as hot water, drinking water, etc. The hostel is safe and secure for all the students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is spread over 40 acres of land. Infrastructure of Krea University is pretty good. Currently, there are 2 academic blocks which are equipped with several facilities such as library, labs, auditorium, seminar hall, etc. Sports facilities are also available for games like Football, Badminton, etc. Classrooms are of different sizes and it has the capacity to accommodate enough number of students. Apart from this, canteen, medical facilities, transportation facilities, etc. are also available at the campus.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life is good enough. It depends on your expectations. There are approximately 1500+ students studying in this University. The crowd is very enthusiastic and diverse. There are so many clubs. Right now, I am not a part of any of the club but they conduct very nice events. The University conducts events related to sports as well. We celebrate many festivals and students also get a chance to promote their own culture. Just don’t expect too much and live the life.
