MITS Madanapalle Annual Techno-Cultural-Sports Event is Called 'ASHV'

This Institute is very big and I really like it. It offers a wide range of course to the students. The course I have chosen helped my enhance my skills. Various extracurricular activities are conducted for the students apart from the academics. It is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur (JNTUA).

I am pursuing B.Tech in Data Science at MITS Madanapalle. I chose this course because I have an interest in AI & ML. I got the admission through EAMCET exam and I have got 23,000 rank in it. The students can also take admission through the management quota. There will be two mid-term exams and a final exam in each semester. The academics focus on both theoretical knowledge and practical knowledge and it will prepare you to face the real life challenges.

The annual fee of my course is around Rs. 69,800/- per year. The hostel fee is around Rs. 55,000/- per year. The students also have to pay other charges as well. The students have to pay the examination which is Rs. 1500/-.

The faculty members of my department at MITS Madanapalle have good knowledge in their respective field. They have done Ph.D in their respective field. They teach us with the help of blackboards, PPTs, etc. They solve all the doubts of the students whether they are numerical doubts or other doubts. The problem solving abilities of the teachers is average. The teacher to student ratio is 1:50. The faculty members are quite strict but over time they will become friendly and supportive. Overall, the teachers also provide guidance to the students. According to me, there is a room for improvement in their teaching style.

Yes, there is a placement cell. Around 80% of students got placed from this Institute.

The campus of this Institute is spread over 26.17 acres of land. There are around 7 academic blocks dedicated to different departments. Each classroom is equipped with a projector and around 28 benches which provides a comfortable learning environment to the students. The campus has well maintained labs which supports practical learning. The Institute also has canteen which serves good quality of food to the students. Medical facilities are also available in case of emergency.

My campus life at MITS Madanapalle is very good. The campus crowd is friendly. The students actively participate in the events and activities which are conducted by the Institute. There are several technical, cultural, and sports clubs which you can also join as per your interest. Each department conducts its own fest and events. Hackathons, workshops, and cultural events are also celebrated here. There is a fest called 'ASHV' which is held for 2 days.
