NRI Institute of Medical Sciences Visakhapatnam has Decent Crowd

Overall Rating
My experience at this Institute is average. It is a private Institute. I you fill bored then you can also go to the beach which is located nearby the Institute. The course I am pursuing is quite difficult. Various facilities are available at the campus. It is located in Visakhapatnam. I would recommend others to take admission at this Institute.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. The academics help the students to enhance their skills. The eligibility criteria are that the students must have passed their class 12th boards with good marks. The internal exams are conducted in every 3 months. The students are required to maintain a certain percentage of attendance in this Institute. It is definitely a good course to pursue.
The total fee of my course at NRI Institute of Medical Sciences is Rs. 2,60,500/- per year including all the charges. The fee for the students who got admission through the management quota is little high. The Institute also provides scholarship to the students.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members of this Institute are not biased towards any student. They us with the help of PPTs, blackboard, etc. There are around 5 to 6 teachers in our department. They also conduct mentorship program for the students where they can discuss their doubts and problems. They solve all the doubts of the students. They are very friendly and punctual. The teacher to student ratio is good. My bonding with the teachers is really good.
 

Placement Rating
This is a medical Institute so there are not much placements but if will become a good Doctor if you study well.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the NRI Institute of Medical Sciences provides accommodation facilities to the students. There are separate hostel for male and female students. There are separate hostel for juniors so that there will be no chance of ragging. The mess is also available and it serves good food to the students. You can to take the permission of the warden before going outside. The hostel for the girls is actually very good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The overall infrastructure of this Institute is actually very nice. The classrooms are equipped with comfortable benches. The campus has library, well maintained labs, auditorium, etc. The classrooms are equipped with projectors, and other digital tools. The campus has around 2 to 4 canteens, gym. etc. The Institute also provide sports facilities to the students for games like Cricket, Basketball, Football, etc.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life at this Institute is good so far. There are around 1000 to 2000 students studying at this Institute. There are several clubs which students can join as per their interest. Various extracurricular activities are organised for the students. The Institute also conducts Fresher’s party for the new comers. If you have good friends then you will enjoy the fests which are conducted by this Institute. Every year a fest is conducted at NRI Institute of Medical Sciences.

    First of all, my Institute was founded in 2012 and is affilated with YSRUHS Vijayawada. I felt good being in a medical Institute. Firstly, there is good vibes in the Institute. I have great fun, there is a garden, which is peaceful to sit, and a Library to read, and even reading room and different courts for the games like basketball and volleyball.
