Overall Rating
The environment of JNTU Vizianagaram is good for studies. The faculty members are highly experienced. Only concern is that the placements were not that good at my time. I guess it has improved now. The students here are well disciplined. The students will get a chance to learn different things in this University. It is Public Institution.
 

Academics Rating
I have done B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering. I chose this course because I had an interest in it. For admission, the students have to qualify EMCET exam and score good rank in it. The exams are conducted frequently. Overall, the academics are good and only less students get a chance to take admission in this University.
The fee structure of this University is reasonable. The tuition fee at my time was Rs. 10,000/- per year. The students have to pay the hostel fee separately.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of my department are very much experienced and knowledgeable. Most of them have completed their Ph.D in their respective field. They teach us with the help of PPT, etc. They are always ready to solve the doubts of the students. You can ask your questions without any hesitation.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, JNTU Vizianagaram has placement cell. The placements were not up to the mark from 2 last years.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the University offers hostel facilities to the students. There are separate hostel for male and female students. There are around 80 to 90 rooms available at the hostel and 5 students can live in one room. All the students are required to be back at the hostel by 10:00 PM.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of JNTU Vizianagaram is around 80 acres and has around 3 academic blocks. Some of them are AB-1, AB-2, etc. AB-1 block is for the students of EEE, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, etc. AB-2 block is for the students of ECE, IT, CSE, etc. The University has two indoor stadiums for boys and girls. It has big ground where every time of game can be played. The campus also has a huge auditorium where several events take place.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life at this University was good. I participated in various activities. I was a student coordinator for our fest which was a grand success at that time and also I was in the Kabaddi team. I used to represent my University at grand level. At my time, there were around 2000 students studying in this University. There are several clubs present at the campus and I was the members of the management club.

    Life at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Gurajada is better. I choose this university as it is nearer to my home town. In this university Electronics and Communication Engineering branch is best for the students as this branch have more number of regular and experienced faculties.
