Overall Rating
Overall my experience at BVCEC Rajahmundry is good regarding the studies and the faculty. It's one of the oldest Colleges in East Godavari with fully equipped laboratories. The atmosphere of this College is good and very peaceful. I spend most of my time in the library because the environment there helps me focus more on my academics. You should also take admission in this College.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. Eligibility criteria are either AP EAMCET or APECET entrance exam. Exams are too strict and the checking is also done strictly. The academics motivate the students to study more and score good marks in the exams. Each semester consists mid-term exams and end-term exams.
The fee of my course is Rs. 42,000/- per year. This fee also includes admission fee, and other charges. The College does not provide scholarship to the students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of department is good. They are very knowledgeable and guide us at every path. They used to teach us with the help of blackboards, PPTs, etc. They use the PPT method so that the students can understand the concepts clearly. The problem solving abilities of the faculty members are also good. They also take extra classes, in order to solve all our doubts. Overall, my bonding with the teachers was good.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the College has placement cell. The placements are average. I got offer from 3 companies but they were not good.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, BVCEC Rajahmundry provides hostel facilities to the students. There are separate hostel for male and female students. The rooms are available in three and four sharing. The hostel fee for the four sharing room was Rs. 65,000/- per year. The mess is also there which serves hygienic food to the students. The hostel gate remain opens from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. My experience at the hostel was good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of this College great and the campus has several facilities for the students. The campus is spread over a huge area. The classrooms have comfortable benches and they are equipped with projectors, white boards, blackboards, etc. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The College has library, labs, seminar hall, etc. in every block. A big auditorium, canteen, medical room, transportation facilities, etc. are present as well. My favorite place is the campus itself. The campus has tight security and nobody can enter the campus without the ID card.
 

Campus Rating
Overall my campus life at this College was best. It is the best things that have happened in my life. I have so many friends here. The campus has huge crowd. Every year, they organise EPL (Engineer Premium League). Various sports and cultural activities take place in the League. The College also celebrates Pongal every year.

    BVC Engineering College is a great institution with excellent faculty and staff. This college provides good placements opportunities.
