KJC Bangalore: Decent College at Affordable Price

Overall Rating
I am a student of BBA at Kristu Jayanti College. I chose this college due to its clean and green environment, which motivates you to go to the college and spend some time there. Apart from that, it has a rich cultural diversity, which allows student from every part of India to live peacefully. Students from North Eastern parts of India live and study very peacefully here. In addition, sports and wellness is well promoted here.
 

Academics Rating
The entry requirements are simple; first, the college would start enrolling students from January. All you need to do is to fill the form and wait for interview. In interview, the professors would ask for self-introduction and some basic level technical questions related to your field. Once you crack it, you will be asking to deposit certain amount to reserve your seat.
I am not sure about registration fees, because it varies with time and the course chosen, in my case, it was around Rs. 1000/-. However, once you are selected you are supposed to pay Rs. 98,500/- to reserve your seat and rest of the amount, which is Rs. 60,500/- after you start attending classes.
 

Faculty Rating
I am at my 3rd semester in 2nd year. In my first year, I had 10 subjects, and all of my professors were very much experienced, helpful, and friendly. Overall, the classroom experience is good with proper smart boards and other necessities, which allows teachers to take lectures wtihout any hindrances.
 

Placement Rating
Placement Cell of KJC Bangalore is good. The companies came such as Goldman Sacs for offering Internships to certain number of students. In addition, you can expect companies for placement from the beginning of the fifth semester, all big and reputed company come here and give chances to students.
 

Hostel Rating
Residential facilities need to be improved. Once you plan to join, they will ask you to pay around Rs.1,00,000/- for the whole year, without meals.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of University is nearly 25 KMs away from Kempegowda International Airport. The campus is beautiful from inside, with green park, football turf, and basketball court, affordable and delicious menu in cafeterias, where you can hang out with your friends. The medical facilities are there, with college doctor, and nurse in the clinic. We also have an ATM machine, in case you need urgent cash. Apart from this, if I talk about sports, we have a separate cricket and volleyball turf outside the college, which is newly made.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life has been amazing. Every year, we have many college events where you can participate and get attendance. Almost people from every field such as students from Law, Management, Computer Science, etc. can participate in any kind of event with no restrictions. Apart from that, the crowd here is amazing and diversity of ethnicity is huge here. Our college is known for the Ethnic Day Celebration and has received a reward from Government of Karnataka for its beauty and unity symbolism.

    The college is situated at Bangalore Kothanur, which is under CMC. Academically, it is a good college. There are a limited number of fests conducted. The campus is a safe place with not much bullying to worry about. Overall, it’s a great place and clean campus.... Read Full Review

    Overall, I had a pretty nice experience in this campus, the infrastructure is amazing, the academics is good, there is discipline, is strict but not that much.
