Admission in RLAC New Delhi is Based on Valid Scores of CUET Exam

Ram Lal Anand College, New Delhi is an underrated gem. The College has great infrastructure, fully furnished classrooms and facilities for excellent pedagogy. The College is situated in South Campus of Delhi University and has made its name for its fully Tech enabled and one and only radio station of Delhi University. The faculty at the College is dedicated and very friendly, one of the reasons being that the faculty is young. We have a huge ground but it’s shared with another College. The canteen and medical room facilities are also at par with top DU Colleges. However, the College has a very rigorous curriculum, continuous events and sessions which keep the students busy but increases academic pressure. Overall, it can be a great choice if you want to do something meaningful with your career.

I am pursuing Bachelors of Management Studies at RLAC New Delhi. It is a tough course as it comprises of Management and Finance-focused subjects. My motive for choosing this course was to explore the Management field while being in touch with academic rigour. To get admission in the College, students will have to give CUET and there is eligibility of passing 12th with at least 55%. There will be cut-offs and you will have to clear it for the particular course and the particular College. The CUET happens one time in a year and is conducted by NTA. The academic pressure is real and challenges one to continuously upgrade you to keep it up with your peers and classmates.

Fee for my course is Rs. 37,500/- per year for a general candidate and it includes everything else. Only Examination fee at the end of each semester is taken according to your chosen subjects. There is fees aid for underprivileged students and many scholarships for Scholars of each semesters. Scholarships are available for students with family income less than 4 LPA.

The faculty of my College is relatively younger as compared to other DU Colleges. Every professor has Ph.D. in their subjects and are regularly tested for their academic capabilities. The classrooms have Digital Touch Boards and every faculty member is mandated to teach with PPTs which are later shared with students for reference, making campus free from paper wastage and useless interference while teaching. The ratio is mainly dependent on the courses and there is no fixed ratio in the College. Teachers are friendly with students if the students comply and reciprocate the same. Teachers try to accommodate students and get the best out of them. My teachers are so friendly that they solve any doubts and try to act as torch bearers for students with respect to our careers.

Our College has an active Placement Cell called 'Pathway'. It is run by a student body and approved by the admin body. There is an online platform operated by our College and every job and Internship offerings are available on that page. Companies are invited to showcase the students’ academic prowess enabling good conversion rates for students.

There are no hostels available inside Ram Lal Anand College, New Delhi.

The College has around 30 full size classrooms with ACs in every corner of our campus. The academic block is of 3 floors and each floor has Practical labs for different courses. The College has a huge 3 floor library with books from every corner of the World. There are two full sized Auditoriums in the College. There is a huge seminar room for the students to perform and for other similar events. We have good sports facilities but the equipment is not sufficient for everyone. There is a medical room with 24/7 operating capacity and a counsellor for students’ mental health. I love the canteen area, as it is lush green, with lots of tasty dishes which are affordable for students. Students can openly relax and chill in the rose garden of our College.

Overall the campus life of Ram Lal Anand College, New Delhi is good. You will be very happy with your friends and College life will be good. There are various Cells and Clubs which are active in College. The crowd is good but you will have to find your people there so it takes time. The seniors are very helpful so it is nice. Annual fest and Freshers are highlighting experience of the College. Everyone from around the DU circuit respects our College and you will in no time feel accepted by the College.
