Overall Rating
The institution allows you to experience both practical and theoretical exposure. From the classrooms to the internships you attend will be guided by the departments. I can assure you that, you won't be the same person when you leave the College on the last day. Raja Lakhamgouda Law College, Belgaum will not only help you in developing knowledge but also personality. This is one of the oldest Institutions and that's the reason I chose this over any other National Law Schools. I did not even take CLAT exams because I always wanted to get admission here.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing B.A.LL.B with economics as major subject and I had a personal interest to choose between B.A and BBA. Semester exams will be conducted after every sem. Regarding the admission; Raja Lakhamgouda Law College, Belgaum chooses students on the basis of percentage you secured in your 10+2 exams. You need to fill a temporary admissions form and you get confirmation call once you get selected by the Institution.
When I had gotten admission, the fee was around Rs. 34,000/- but now it has increased and depending upon your course and year it will change. In your first year, you will get some amount of refund based on your 10+2 percentage. Any sort of scholarship will not be provided by the College but you can apply for a government scholarship. There are some endowment prices for toppers in particular subjects as well.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is my personal favourite part of this College; you will find the nicest, calmest, the most encouraging and knowledgeable faculty here. They will not only help you in academics but also help you with any life problems or career counselling. Even when I had a confusion regarding my LL.M, whether to do it in India or do it abroad, the teachers listed all the pros and cons of both and what benefits I will be getting. They don’t treat you like a student, but like your own kid, it’s like a family where they want everyone to succeed.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel facility is there for both men and women and they are separate. There is a watchman 24/7 and also there will be a faculty who will be staying in the Hostel to look after the students, one for both boys' and girls' hostel. Hostellers also have a chatroom where they can inform the ward if they are stepping out of the hostel property and the text you send in the group will be recorded and even the principal of the College is present there along with other faculties.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is very good and they also provide Wi-Fi. Raja Lakhamgouda Law College, Belgaum also have a canteen and gym which is free for both men and women, and have different timings as well. The library is huge where you can issue books for a certain period of time by scanning your ID card. My personal favourite thing in the Institution would be the library because it gives you the opportunity to read different genres of stories, and learn new things.
 

Campus Rating
The College crowd is huge and you will find so many friends, seniors, nice juniors and I was a part of various extracurricular activities, especially when it comes to debates and allocations. I got the stage and learnt so many things and also I have been attending so many press meets with ministers. Decent amount of events are also organised in this Institution with proper safety.
