What Every Student Should Know About KITS Guntur

Overall Rating
My experience at KITS Guntur has been satisfactory. The academics are well designed, but the placements are average and needs improvement. The Institute offers direction, hands on learning, and overall student engagement to genuinely meet current industry expectations.
 

Academics Rating
I enrolled in the B.Tech program to gain a strong technical foundation and to prepare for a career in the Engineering stream and IT industry. Eligibility criteria was standard, based on the intermediate marks and secured rank through AP EAMCET and AP ECET. Exams are conducted regularly without changing the scheduled dates to improve learning and progress. The curriculum is interesting with coding exercises. Labs will help you in developing real World problem skills.
In my Institute, fee structure is moderate and affordable for everyone as compared to other Institutions. Tuition fees is consistent for all semesters. Scholarships are provided by Government for eligible students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty at my Institute has experienced as well as new members. The professors are knowledgeable and explain using blackboards, PPTs, and group discussions. Teacher student interaction helps learn and experience in studies. Overall, faculty provides a good academic foundation, though improving practical exposure and industry oriented teaching would make a difference.
 

Placement Rating
My Institute has an active Placement Cell that guides students through recruitment process. The highest package offered in 2025 was 7 LPA and average package around 3.4 LPA. I wish they attract more top tier companies consistently.
 

Hostel Rating
KITS Guntur provides residential facilities with separate hostels for Boys and Girls. Hostel rooms are basic and accommodate multiple students per room. Mess food is good and served regularly. Hostel rules have strict in timings for outing. This helps maintain discipline but can feel restrictive at times. Hostel fee is quite normal and the stay is comfortable.
 

Infrastructure Rating
My campus was well defined in academic blocks and class rooms with basic seating and AV facilities, and along with that, there are libraries, seminar halls and an auditorium. Labs could be improved with new configurations for doing practical experiments. Sports, canteen, and transport facility is available.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life of KITS Guntur, in my view was average. The crowd is generally cooperative and focused on academics, though interaction beyond classrooms is limited. There are several clubs aimed to encourage the students in extracurricular participation, but I personally did not take part in them. Conducting Expos and showcasing projects in department is best as compared to other Institutions. Annual Fests and events are well organized and executed smoothly. Overall, campus provides some opportunities for social and cultural growth.

    KKR & KSR Institute of Technology and Sciences (KITS) is one of the top 5 colleges in the entire Guntur district. KITS has very good faculty and well support management. It has strict rules which ensure safety of the students and especially of the girls. Good numbers of placements are offered.     Our college is situated in a village called Vinjanampadu in the Vatticherukuru Mandal in Guntur district. Our management stands first in helping students, collecting affordable fees from the student's side, and providing quality education with good facilities.
