KITS Guntur Review

Overall Rating
KKR & KSR Institute of Technology and Sciences (KITS) is one of the top 5 colleges in the entire Guntur district. KITS has very good faculty and well support management. It has strict rules which ensure safety of the students and especially of the girls. Good numbers of placements are offered. The college has bus facility that brings students from around 50 km distance also to the college.
 

Academics Rating
I am a B.Tech CSE graduate from KITS. CSE is a very demanding course in KITS. Even though there are new emerging courses like AI, DS, and ML, the demand for CSE has not decreased even a bit. For getting CSE seat in KITS you need to get 12,000 to 15,000 rank in EAMCET for general quota. You can join after completion of diploma by writing ECET. You can also join through Donation/Management quota in which you have to submit the fee that is Rs. 75,000 per year and Rs. 4,00,000 for the entire course.
 

Faculty Rating
The KITS has very good teaching staff and most of them have completed doctorates. The faculty is very supportive and student friendly. The faculties will provide all the necessary things for your course. The faculty is ready to clarify your doubts even in their leisure time also. The faculty also develops industry required skills among us and encourages us to become entrepreneurs. If you have business idea then the college will fund you to work on that idea. The college will support you in all aspects.
 

Placement Rating
KITS has a placement cell. The TPO bring MNCs to the college for recruitment of the students. The efforts are easily seen by the number of offers that are received by the students.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is also good but the only disappointment is that the hostel is not in the college premises. Hostel is located in the Guntur city and college is located at the outskirts of the city. The food provided is tasty. The college provides college buses for the hostellers and you don’t have to pay extra fee for the bus as it is included in the hostel fee itself.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college infrastructure is very good. All the classrooms are digital and have AC and projectors installed. Drinking water facility is also there. The playground is also very decent. Computer labs are also very good. Not only computer labs all the labs are well equipped and well trained lab faculty is present.
 

Campus Rating
The college has many student clubs like E-CELL, Jeevan Koushal Club, and 6 such clubs which helps to develop leadership qualities in students and social clubs like NSS and NCC are also present. There is one Central Library which has wide range of books. Canteen is very good and has well ambience. The prices in canteen are also reasonable.
