Jagran College of Arts Science and Commerce Kanpur: Affordable Fee and Experienced Faculty

Overall Rating
My experience in Jagran College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Kanpur is amazing because it is very good, ragging free and the environment is amazing. This College is very affordable, good teaching methods and faculty members. The College is near my house and I like the course curriculum and teaching methods.
 

Academics Rating
So the course I chose is BCA because I like Computer Science and Technology. Eligibility criteria in our College is to have passed 10th and 12th with Maths. Admission process in our College is to obtain registration number. Admission will be on the merit basis subject to the approval of the admission committee. There are 6 semester exams and course is of 3 year duration. Academics prepare me very well for real life challenges.
The fee is Rs. 35,000/- per year, and semester wise is Rs. 17,500/-. Yes, the registration fee is Rs. 500/-.
 

Faculty Rating
The problem solving abilities of our faculty is good. My experience and bonding with them is well. Teaching methods are good and every classroom has a hi-tech projector and well maintained seats.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a Placement Cell at Jagran College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Kanpur.
 

Hostel Rating
As far as I know, the College does not have its own hostel facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The College campus has enough facilities. Classroom have well-furnished and equipped class rooms and seating capacity is approx. 60 to 70 students. The College has a modern library facility with large number of books and other references books. They have well maintained labs of Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. The canteen has many items which you can order and try. Every year they organize sports for its students. My favourite thing in our College is the Computer lab.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life at Jagran College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Kanpur was amazing. Our College crowd is very good. The College encourages the students to participate in extracurricular activities, debates, quizzes, cultural activities, dramatics and fine arts competition. Every year they organize its collegiate festival ‘Kalanjali’. My experience is very good in our campus life. And I suggest that every student should once visit the College and feel the College vibe. Yes, there is a Football Club and I did not participate in any club.

    If I have to summaries Jagran College in a word, then I'll term it as 'Peaceful Ambience'. Many will wonder why I said that and how can a college be such a peaceful cell but the moment you enter that college you get an energy that is actually meant for you. Something which is away from the daily college routine.
