Excellent Faculties at IIITV-ICD Diu

Overall Rating
I used to love beach places since my childhood. I chose IIIT Vadodara - International Campus, Diu as it is at a near distance from the sea shore. The campus life is so good and you will for sure enjoy just like I did. The campus architecture is quite different from other campuses which make you feel like you are there in some sort of resort. The hostels are so good. The greenery everywhere in the campus makes me feel good.
 

Academics Rating
I chose CSE as I wanted to end up in Tech side. The admission process will go smoothly and the staff at the office is cooperative with students and parents. There will be mid and end semester exams for a particular semester. The subjects will mostly be 5 per semester but may vary to 6 in some. The exams end in a week with no gaps. The projects suggested in the coursework which are to be done on groups will actually make you feel like you are tech ready. This Institute requires a JEE rank in order to join.
The fee to be paid per semester when I joined was around Rs. 1,40,000/- and every year there will be 10% increment in fee. There is no special concession in fee for any category. The administration suggests you to apply for Scholarship for low income families and also for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes. Currently, the tution fee for the 1st semester students is Rs. 1,56,720/-
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty at IIITV-ICD Diu are quite experienced and did their Masters' and Ph.D. from the reputed Institutions like IITs or NITs. Method of teaching is almost same for every faculty they have their own presentation slides and they explain on smart devices with a stylus on the projector. The faculty members are so friendly and talk to you so well and help you in everything be it doubts, career or anything else. You can reach out to them whenever you feel like by checking their availability.
 

Placement Rating
The Placement Cell works well at the Institute. It helps students by coordinating with the company's hiring team and enables a smooth process of getting hired.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, IIIT Vadodara - International Campus, Diu has its own hostel which doesn't feel like a hostel, it's like home. There will be 2 cots with beds per room, study tables, side tables, cupboards, etc. Girls’ and boys’ hostels are separate but they have a common mess. Hostel fee per semester is Rs. 40,000/-. For girls, the timings are they have to sign by 9:30 PM in the register near the guard. If you go to the library then you have to sign by 12:00 AM. Overall, I love my hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The academic block is good with a decent sitting space of 90 to 100 students per classroom. There are Computer Labs, Electrical and Electronics instrumented labs. The Institute even has a big library and a large seminar hall. The doctor visits the campus every day and you can meet him in his cabin. The timings will be informed to the students at the earliest. The sports section is good with many courts like Football, Volleyball, Badminton and even a gym. It even has a big ground for Cricket lovers.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life at IIIT Vadodara - International Campus, Diu is quite well. There are 5 committees namely Sports, Academics, Cultural, Technical, and Student welfare committee which have numerous clubs under them like Photography Club, Coding Club, Dance Club, Arts Club, and many more. There will be an annual sports fest called ‘Olympus’, an annual cultural fest called ‘Stavya’, and an another annual Tech fest. There will be a large number of events conducted in the fests which you all will personally enjoy.
