This is What I Experienced as a Law Student in NMIMS Indore

Overall Rating
I am currently in my 7th semester. I chose NMIMS Indore because of my strong passion for pursuing my career in law. There is mandatory rule for students to maintain 80% attendance and it will help students to learn within the walls of classroom. They provide all learning material in digital form as videos, PPTs, presentations and e-books and it will reduce the pressure to carry any book or source manually.
 

Academics Rating
The academic curriculum focuses on providing both theoretical and practical exposures. As it provides exposures through moot courts, legal drafting, research papers, case study discussions which help students in getting real time experience. They give 5-8 weeks break for internship after every semester end. An eligibility criterion for students is that they have to clear either CLAT Exam or the Institute entrance exam which is NLAT. NMIMS Indore provides a five year integrated course for BBA.LL.B (Hons) and B.A.LL.B (Hons). Every year there are 2 semester and each exam conducted in November and May.
Fees for my course is Rs. 1,50,000/- and it is non-refundable for Indore campus. It includes infrastructure facilities and tuition fees. It excludes the hostel fees, admission fees and separate fees for transportation.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are knowledgeable and well educated from reputed NLUs and Law schools. They are friendly and approachable. The ratio of teacher and students is 1:60. My bonding with teachers was great. They have guided me at every stage of my learning journey and helped me in shaping my future. They ask students to fill feedback form about teacher which will help them to improvise their teaching pattern.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell for every department. It helps us to secure internships as well job opportunities for students pan India. It make easy for them handle students from every department.
 

Hostel Rating
They provide accommodation facility for students and separate for boys and girls. There are recreational activities like Gym, Indoor games, and outdoor sports like Basketball, football, cricket and much more provided. Laundry facility is also available. Mess food is of good quality.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus is huge with great infrastructure. Parking space for vehicles is also available. Classroom seating capacity is around for 100 students. They have 2 floor library, auditorium, seminar hall, multipurpose hall, conference room, group discussion rooms. Vehicle facilities for day scholars are available. Transportation fees is between Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 40,000/- annually. My favourite place of the NIMIMS Indore would be multipurpose area where all indoor activities take place.
 

Campus Rating
My overall experience has been very good. Institute crowd is very decent and students with good family background. There are various clubs and committees to encourage extracurricular activities in our Institute. It is a great opportunity for students to showcase there hidden talent. ‘NAMOTSAV’ is our annual fest which held for 2-3 days where many activities are conducted, different artists perform, DJ night followed by movie night as well. Various other cultural programs are also conducted like hindi diwas and teachers day

    Overall, my college is very nice. The ambiance of the college is top tier. The faculties are very friendly as well as they take studies very seriously. The two mid terms system prepares you well for the term end examination. The clubs are also very professional and growth oriented. There is a cultural club called "Sangam" which organizes many fun events. The technical club "Turing" also conducts many technical and innovative events.     The college experience is very much enjoying and full of learning, activities, events and exams. It is way too good for students in Indore to choose over any other college. NMIMS as a university is perfect for taking admission in any field but the Indore branch is not very much sound with placements in Engineering and Law.     When I didn't get the desired institute through CLAT, I started finding some renowned institutes for law and then my eyes stuck on NMIMS Indore campus. As this was the only campus which had some land area and was near to my city. Fortunately within 10 days of CLAT exams result I got a mail from NMIMS that I have been selected for NMIMS.
