Fee Structure and Faculty at NMIMS Indore

When I didn't get the desired institute through CLAT, I started finding some renowned institutes for law and then my eyes stuck on NMIMS Indore campus. As this was the only campus which had some land area and was near to my city. Fortunately within 10 days of CLAT exams result I got a mail from NMIMS that I have been selected for NMIMS. I chose Indore campus. The only problem it had was that they didn't have any alumni from Law school. So it was a tough decision for me to choose but still fortunately I think it was a good one. Now I am in penultimate year of my law journey. The fee structure, faculty and infrastructure are the main qualities of this institute. The Academics is decent and now there are many sports facilities. As per my opinion if you are inclined towards corporate law then only chose this institute otherwise you will have difficulty in managing time for yourself and for your studies. Also the library in this campus is not that par as to the level of other institutes which I suggest they should improve.

The Academic structure of Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies is now improved. At first in 2021 when I joined this institute the academics and course structure was not decided systematically. But now for the new comers it is better. Now the new comers will be getting ample of time for their internship especially in 5th year. To join this Law institute you must clear NLAT or get a decent rank in CLAT. The exams are conducted by the institute in May and for the other semester it is in November of any year.

The Fee structure of Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies is good to go for anyone who is looking for pursuing a law degree with decent fee structure, good academic structure and infrastructure. The fee is very bearable here.

When I joined this institute I wasn't sure that there would be much permanent faculties and to certain degree it was true. But now they have their permanent faculties and they teach well. The classrooms are provided with white boards and a TV which is a quite good environment for study. The student-teacher ratio in institute is 1:60 which is a good step taken by the institute, which avoids overcrowding. Most of the faculties have studied from NLU's and the other teachers are also well qualified.

As per my knowledge the 1st placement from institute happened in 2024 (which was our 1st batch from School of Law) and there were only two placements. The rest of the students took it from off campus placements. The institute has its own placement committee which is working well to provide good internships to students. The first batch didn't get many companies for placement from institute but the new batch is getting the benefits as now the Tech Mahindra, Quizlet and some other law firms and companies are taking placements from this institute. The average package that the first batch took was of 6.6 lakh per annum.

Well there is not much to complain about the hostel facility of Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies as the infrastructure is awesome. But I can say that sometimes their food quality is not that good as compared to the price they charge. Secondly there is no Parking facility for hostellers which are a downgrade. The in timings are 9:30 pm for hostel which is decent. The hostel facility will not disappoint you until and unless you are not used to restrictions and all.

Infrastructure of this institute is the best thing about this institute. Infrastructure of NMIMS is well known in India. There is not much to complain about the infrastructure in this institute. The only thing you can complain about is restrictions they put sometimes on students like they sometimes don’t allow students to move outside campus before 2 PM. Now there are sports facilities also which makes it 5/5 for the infrastructure facilities.

If you roam around the institute for the first time you will feel happy and satisfied as the infrastructure is very good. But if you are hosteller then you will get to know the hostel life and the actual campus life. The campus is open for all hostellers till 10 PM only. After that you have to be inside the hostel. You can't even walk in the campus after that. Now as per the clubs and committee, here you will find many committees and students are very much involved in conducting activities. The Fest (Namotsav) happens every February and March and it is decent.
