Events, Cultural Celebration & Tech Fest at NIRT Bhopal

Overall Rating
Overall my experience was good. The NIRT Bhopal has good academic environment for students. The curriculum set is in order and faculties are very helpful. Campus life is average yet active due to Events, Tech fests, and Cultural celebrations. Infrastructure is one of the strongest points in this Institute. Clean, modern, and well-maintained classes. Hygienic and comfortable hostel but a bit pricey. Everything is going great as academics, facilities and many more. It has large crowd.
 

Academics Rating
Academics are good in this Institute. Semesters are designed in a best way for the students. There are 2 mid semester exam in which they take the better of 2 exams. These mid semesters consist of 20 marks for each subject. Though sometimes assignments become so stressful. In first year, we have been taught each and every subjects which come under any field of Engineering.
Institute fees was Rs. 40,000/- per year and I also got a government scholarship of Rs. 30,000/- per year. One of the major Scholarship provided to us is 'Means-cum-Merit Financial Assistance Scholarship'. There is no category based scholarship in Institute but they still have scholarship available for eligible candidates and it is possible that they can get 50% and 100% scholarship.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties here are moderate and it is not possible that all faculties of an Institution have to be equal. Most of them are students' favorite. However, we cannot deny the fact they are preparing us for better future. There conduct Hackathon and all students who participated in it were encouraged by the faculties to perform well. Faculties are very helpful.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, they do offer placements to the students. They have a Placement Cell and in which all the students are reviewed and trained for the placement opportunities. They invite companies to the Institution and try their best to get students placed with good package. The placement officer signs the MoU with the company and brings them to the Institute campus for placement.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, they provide accommodations to the students. I was day scholar so I have no personal experience.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Institute was founded in the year 2008. The infrastructure of the Institute is very good and all the departments have separate buildings. They have their own management which is also very good. The classrooms are spacious in the Institute. They have well equipped labs. Libraries are also fully functioned and maintained. My favorite
 

Campus Rating
Overall, my campus life was average. The crowd of the NIRT Bhopal is massive. There are various clubs available in the Institute, and you can choose one of them and part of it. Various activities are conducted by the Institute. There is a Tech fest conducted in the Institute, which has been taken place from last two or three years. The festivals are celebrated in the Institute campus such as live Navratri, Garba, Ganesh Utsav, etc.
