GGSIPU New Delhi Offers Post Matric Scholarship to the Disabled Students

My overall experience in GGSIPU New Delhi was good. I'm a third year Law student and if anyone wants to do choose Law it would be choice, over the new NLUs, CLAT aspirants' should go for place like Delhi. It has advantage as all the all big Law firms, chambers and the Supreme Court are situated here in Delhi. It has no strict attendance policy therefore students can do their Internship anytime not only on Internship break.

The admission process for this University is based on CLAT result. There is fixed ratio for the Delhi students and Outside Delhi student 3:1. This university is funded by the Delhi State Government that's why they intake more students who are from Delhi. There is high competition to get the admission for the outsiders because they are only eligible when they get a good rank rather than Delhi domicile students. Moreover, Delhi students get relaxation in their rank. Little bit hectic academic schedule lot to learn in Law and during the exam season students get more focused on Law syllabus. All are very helpful and pretty good bond between senior and junior.

There are no any semester wise fees you have only pay the fees in one time and same for the hostel fees you have to pay onetime for the whole year. The total yearly fee is Rs. 1, 00,000 /- for academics and hostel fees Rs. 75,000/-. The fee slightly increases every year.

Faculty of my course is well qualified and it seen when they teach us in class rooms. Professors are chill and very supportive. They have really good faculty to teach. Prof. Dr. Puma Gautam has expertise in Crimes Law. Their teaching method is really good as they use black boards and sometime projectors. Sometimes we use PPTs to present our projects in projectors and they discuss among students.

Yes, GGSIPU New Delhi offer placements to the students. They provide Internship and Placement Cell is run by the students under the guidance of assigned faculty. Placement Cell is improving these days and Law firms come to the University for hiring students. Firms like A&Z, Barouche & Partners, Surana & Surana and many others Law firms visits Institution. When we end our Internship then we have to submit our Internship report which is called Internship viva. They offer Post Matric Scholarship to the disabled students.

Yes, they provide accommodations to the students. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. There are two boys’ hostels and two girls’ hostels. All the students get the single room each own separate private space which is good as compare to other University hostel. Both hostels manage by the students elected body. Mess secretary and hostel authorities run the hostel mess. Every month hostel mess menu changed according to the student's preference and season wise. Each Hostel has Reading room, Gym, Tennis court, Badminton court and many more. There is also system of mess fees refund when student absent in the hostel then his mess fess return by the management in the end of year. Hostel has every facility which like they provide clean environment by daily cleaning and best management.

It is located in Sector - 16C, Dwarka, New Delhi - 110078, Delhi NCR, India. University is not too far to the metro station which is on Dwarka sector 14. University is very beautiful as it is full decorated by the flora and fauna. Classroom is quite good and clean and also they have projector. They have one main library and other separate library which is dedicated to only Law students and we issue the books by our University id card. And for the transport University management provide bus to the students for reach to the metro station. All students favorite spot is Cafeteria and Nescafe.

My overall campus life is very good. University crowd is quite decent and it is from all the states as they came from different places. Student come here for the study but using the domicile and most of the crowd is from the Delhi as compare to other places. There is many clubs like Dance, Singing, Moot Club, Legal Aid Club and many more. University organized one Annual Fest which is ‘Anugoonj’ and one Sports fest where all over the Universities of Delhi participate.
