About Main Campus of GGSIPU New Delhi

Overall Rating
The university is located in Delhi which was the major reason of taking admission here and I got CSE here which was a add on. GGSIPU New Delhi is a state university and has a decent alum network. I am in my second year so have a decent hands on experience and another reason of joining here been that I could not make it to the cutoffs of the other government colleges of Delhi.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science in this university. My admission was done based on my scores in JEE Main through the official counseling of GGSIPU. The frequency of exams is generally twice in a semester of which one is the mid semester exams of roughly 20 marks and then at end of the semester we had our end semester exams of 60 marks. I find many core CS subjects, which help in interview for placements.
The fee goes per annum with amount of Rs. 1,20,000 in a single installment and is generally done at start of academic year. The first year also includes additional charges of around Rs. 40,000. Yes, there are M2M scholarships, which give about 25-75% fee waiver.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members for my courses hold years of experience in their fields and were mostly from IITs and NITs. They mostly prefer traditional teaching methods like boards but yes, few also used PPTs and classroom discussions also. The teachers are highly qualified and have great niche of problem solving. You will find some teachers who are strict about their methods and you will face some guest faculties who are totally poles apart from your regular professors.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is of 78 acres with two big grounds, a swimming pool (closed since forever), two OATs, and a big auditorium. The posh locality of university is nice but there are no entertainment places. The classrooms of GGSIPU New Delhi have a seating size of around 60 and all have projectors installed but only some classroom has air conditioning. There is a big library, many labs with not so great Wi-Fi and each block has a seminar hall. The canteen is ok. There is a free bus facility from university to metro.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is ok. The crowd is majorly of Delhi. The clubs are very active with some event happening almost every week. I am a part of a technical club. There are 3 to 4 tech clubs and 8 to 10 some non-tech clubs. Some other is dance, drama, and music clans. There is an annual cultural fest called Anugoonj that happens in February and a annual sports meet for all the affiliated institutions.

    Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is located at Dwarka is main campus of University and a home to 12 USS schools/blocks with various departments. The courses provided here include B.Tech, B.Sc, BBA, LLB, BA, MA, M.Tech, M.Sc, etc. This university built by Delhi government.     Overall, GGSIPU is very good. It is a reputed institute, having a good infrastructure. There is plenty of diversity here, as there are many students from different places. It’s a good chance to interact with people of your same age group. Many clubs and societies are present here, which allow you to develop some real world skills inside you.     My overall review for Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Dwarka, Delhi is great. Infrastructure of this University is awesome. Blocks (building) are constructed beautifully. The university has separate block for different courses offered. Dwarka campus is the main campus of the whole University consisting of about more than 130 colleges in Delhi.     I gave my second attempt for CLAT in 2022 and decided to go to USLLS for to pursuing my law degree. I was already living in Delhi and USLLS is the second-best five-year law school right behind NLU Delhi, so, I decided I will pursue my law degree from this college.
