My Honest Opinion on the Keshav Mahavidyalaya New Delhi

Overall Rating
The Keshav Mahavidyalaya is affiliated to the University of Delhi. That is the one of the reasons why it’s a great College as compared to other mid-tier private Colleges. The campus is good, crowded, and has well-organised cultural activities. It is situated at Pitampura Near Sainik Vihar, New Delhi. The courses provided are also good and knowledgeable. The College is situated in a prime location that is easy to reach. Moreover, the course fee structure is low hence, affordable by many.
 

Academics Rating
There’s not much of a variety in the courses offered but the available ones are very well-structured. Students have to give CUET examination held by the NTA to take admission. However, the cutoffs are very high especially for some specific courses which are renowned in this College.
I chose B.Sc (Hons.) in Mathematics. My annual course fee is around Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. 12,000/- and has to be paid annually. Scholarship is also present which is provided by the University of Delhi through some eligibility criteria.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is well-experienced and educated at KMV New Delhi. Throughout the course duration, a mentor is also assigned to the students for proper guidance. Their teaching method includes Non-Digital Boards, Projectors and PPTs.
 

Placement Rating
Basically, there are two types of Cells present including the Internship Cell and the Placement Cell. It provides the students with internships and job placement support.
 

Hostel Rating
The College provides hostel facility but only for the girls. They can apply for the hostel on the College website but hostel availability is merit-based. The mess has good food as reviewed by my College friend living in the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Keshav Mahavidyalaya campus is very pretty and also has Gardens. Classroom conditions are good. The Conference Room is fully digital and there’s a separate building for the Auditorium. Sports facilities are decent and a separate Gym along with a Mess Card is provided to the students free of cost.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is crowded and has good vibes. Events and other cultural activities are organised in the College. Moreover, there are clubs and a Student Union that holds elections to choose its President. Several College fests are also organised where famous artists come to perform.

    Keshav Mahavidyalaya has small infrastructure and it's an off-campus College. So, everyone judges this College for its appearance but the truth is different. Yes, it has some cons but if you come to DU for education then it's a good choice for you. This College ranks high for BMS, B.Sc (Hons.), and Computer Science in DU.     When I first took admission in Keshav Mahavidyalaya, I wasn't expecting much as it was an off campus college of Delhi University. The campus was beautiful and has a welcoming atmosphere. The campus was green and had an aesthetically pleasing and vibrant environment. The faculty welcomed us with great enthusiasm which made the whole orientation experience great for me.     My first impression of college was fabulous because I kept my expectations down and it didn't disappoint me at all. Despite of being an off campus, this college has an aesthetically beautiful campus, a rich environment because of the greenery, and an awesome crowd and faculty. I particularly choose this college as it was the best option out there for Psychology if you are a boy in University of Delhi.
