My Personal View on the CT University Ludhiana

Overall Rating
My overall experience at CT University Ludhiana has been good. My main reason behind choosing this University was that it had good infrastructure and was affordable for me. It provides better experience and better quality of Labs as compared to other Colleges. It also has an Open Air Theatre which is very not common in other Colleges. The Classrooms and Labs are fully air-conditioned. Moreover, every department has its own block.
 

Academics Rating
The admission process is very simple and online. Admission is granted on the basis of Class 12th percentage and no other internal exam or interview is required for the same. Exams are conducted twice per semester which are mid and end semester exams. The exam papers are designed and checked by the University teachers.
The Tuition fee for my course is Rs. 55,000/- per semester and the examination fee per semester is around Rs. 2500/-. For SC/ST category students, some scholarships are provided.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty at CTU Ludhiana is great. Our bond with faculty members is very good and they are very supportive. Their method of teaching includes PPTs, Smart Boards, and Whiteboards. They will provide you all the help needed however, you have to study hard by yourself. The teachers are very strict with attendance and you have to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance.
 

Placement Rating
Our University has a dedicated Training and Placement Cell. The Placement Cell works throughout the academic year to prepare students for campus recruitment and ensure that they are industry-ready. If am being honest, the average package is 4 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
The College also offers residential facilities for students. The hostels for girls and boys are separate. Girls’ hostels have additional security measures including restricted entry and CCTV surveillance. Mess food is decent. The University also provides hostel facilities to teachers & staff members. Rooms are available in both AC and Non-AC options.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The CT University Ludhiana campus is well-planned with well-structured Academic Blocks, Classrooms, Laboratories, Faculty Rooms, and Departmental Libraries. The seating capacity of the Classrooms is good. Our University has many Canteens and sitting areas where students can sit & relax after lectures. Cafes are also available where students can enjoys meals at affordable prices. An Open Air Theatre is also present. Moreover, a large Sports Ground is available for the students to play.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life is good. Students get enough opportunities to grow academically, socially, and personally. The College crowd is diverse and friendly, with students coming from different backgrounds and regions. Our College celebrates several Annual Fests like the 'Udaan' & many more. My overall experience of campus life has been very positive. It has helped me develop confidence, leadership qualities, and long-lasting friendships.
