KIMS Nalgonda: Through the Eyes of an Intern

Overall Rating
My overall experience at Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences Nalgonda has been average. I joined this College for my MBBS Internship. This College has strict biometric attendance policy for the Interns. Stipend is deducted if you forget to punch in your biometric attendance. Moreover, the weekends are not off.
 

Academics Rating
The College is affiliated to Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal, Telangana. I chose this Institution through the counselling process. As I am an Intern, so I don't have much idea about the academics and admission process.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is good at KIMS Nalgonda. The senior residents teach us in a good way and solve whatever doubt we ask regarding patients. Moreover, they maintain a healthy and friendly bond with the interns. My personal experience has been good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences Nalgonda is decent. Adequate equipment are available for treatment and study of general Postgraduate level subjects. All the facilities for the students are good such as the Library, Sports Grounds, Seminar Halls, Conference Halls, Canteen, Security, Labs, Auditorium, etc. The campus is really spacious and students can roam around freely.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is really good during the fests for students who are studying at the College. The College has a good crowd including students from various courses such as Dental, MBBS, Nursing, Technicians from X-ray Labs & other departments, and other Working Staff. Every year, Dental, and MBBS students organise different fests & they celebrate them in a good way. My overall experience here is fairly good.

    Experience in the college is like a roller coaster ride. We have fun at the same time and study a lot. The college provides a lot of facilities like sports, study room, library, etc. There are strict rules and regulations to be followed. For hostellers rules are stricter.... Read Full Review
