Hindu Kanya Mahavidyala is Situated at SFD Road, Jind, Haryana

I took admission into the Hindu Kanya Mahavidyala Jind in 2022. It is situated at SFD Road, Jind, Haryana. My experience here was excellent. Our teachers were very supportive and taught really well. It had an eco-friendly environment. Administration was also supportive. The Library provided all the books. For Digital Education, teacher conducted Seminars from time to time. I chose this Institute because it was a safe place for girls and the education system was very good in comparison to other Institutes.

I chose B.A. (Hons.) in Mathematics course. My motive for enroling into this course was my interest in Mathematics and because I wanted to become a Mathematics professor. Eligibility criteria for admission was that you must have passed you senior secondary with good marks. First you had to fill the application form for admission. Then, a list was issued by Institute of those students who were eligible for taking admission. Then, document verification was conducted after which you had to pay the fees. After fee submission, your admission process was complete. Exams are conducted every semester of all the subjects. The Academics here prepared us for real-life challenges.

The fee structure of this Institute was affordable. My annual course fees was Rs. 10,000/-. Some fee concession was also provided to the students in their first year on the basis of merit. Special scholarships were provided to the Sports students.

The faculty was well-educated and very supportive. Their teaching skills were great & the teaching method included mostly of Blackboards and Group Discussions. The problem-solving ability of the faculty was also good. They had a good behavior towards the students. The teacher & student bond was great as well. The faculty supported the students and guided them well.

The Hindu Kanya Mahavidyala Jind campus spreads across 18 acres of land with Academic buildings and lots of open area. It is designed to support both learning and extracurricular activities. There are separate Department blocks for every subject. Smart Classrooms and Seminar Halls are a part of the academic campus for interactive classes and events. There is a Library with a huge collection of books, magazines and e-resources for students. It is quite peaceful and clean. Moreover, there are Computer Labs and a UGC Resource Centre for the students.

Overall campus life is very enjoyable. There is a balance between learning and extracurricular activities. The crowd is huge. There are no Clubs. However, there are many extracurricular activities organised by the Institute like Sports, essay-writing competition, drawing competition, etc. Every year, the Institute organises Annual fests, Farewell party, etc. It also celebrates all the festivals. My experience was excellent here and we enjoyed our campus life through fests and events.
