Discover College Life at NPGC Lucknow

Overall Rating
Overall experience at National PG College Lucknow was quite good. I joined this College because the admission process was very simple here. It is quite disciplined and students have to wear uniforms. During my time, the parking area was congested and the ratio of girls to boys was 3:2.
 

Academics Rating
I opted for Bachelor of Arts in Geography & English. Students can get admission either through entrance exam ranks or on the basis of 12th marks. Exams are held at the end of each semester. Academics are good but do not prepare us for real-life challenges.
There were two categories Regular and Self-Finance. The annual fee of my course for Regular was Rs. 6000/- & for Self-Finance, the fees was doubled. There were also several scholarships provided by the Government that we could apply for.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty at NPGC Lucknow was good. The teachers of the English and Geography departments were really good at teaching. Their method of teaching included Blackboards. The problem-solving ability of the teachers was decent. The teacher-student ratio in our college is about 1:60. They are quite easily approachable.
 

Placement Rating
There were not much placement opportunities in my course.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The area of the National PG College Lucknow was quite small but it was clean and the infrastructure was decent. It is situated at the bank of Gomti River. Classrooms had good seating capacity. There were Auditoriums, Library, etc. Moreover, there was a small Canteen near the main gate of the College. Transportation was quite easily accessible and at a short walk, there was a Metro Station nearby the College. The Security was strict and there were many CCTVs & Security Guards. My favourite part was the small space above the Canteen to sit and relax.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, my campus life was quite good and the students were mostly local. There were few Clubs in the College but they were not much active. Moreover, there were many extracurricular activities organised by the College such as workshops and fests. Sports events were also organised monthly.

    Overall Rating
    Honestly this is not a college, it is a school. Like school, regular classes conducted by the faculty and you will never get a feel of college. If you come to enjoy your college life then please drop the idea of admission in this college because this is not Karan Johar's college. There are a lot of rules and regulations in this college which irritates the student.
