Choosing Galgotias University after completing your School can be a great decision as the University gives you an opportunity to take admission without giving any Government exam. However, to enroll in your chosen course, you will have to qualify the criteria. I chose Galgotias University because of the placement records, its experience in academic field. There are many clubs, which offers you to take part in them and you can definitely follow your passion in those clubs with full support by the club members.

I am currently pursuing BCA in AI and Machine Learning at Galgotias University. The course gives opportunity to work for IT industries in future and many more openings are there for students of my course. You are eligible to enroll in this course if you have secured 60-70% in your 12th boards with any stream. The admission process is also very simple as you just have to fill the admission form & it will cost you around Rs. 1000/- to Rs. 1500/-. After filling the form, the university will call you personally and send you an offer letter. The course BCA will be of 3 years which is 6 semester. In every semester, there are 2 IA, MTE, and ETE. The academics here will help you to deal with the real life challenges.

The fees of my course are around Rs. 1,21,000/- in your first year and then Rs. 87,000/- for the second & third year. The fee is paid on yearly. There are no extra admission charges. If you perform well and maintain you CGPA in every semester, the university will provide you scholarship like Sports, Academic Brilliance, etc. In addition, if you are resident of Uttar Pradesh, the Government will give you scholarship based on you academic background.

Mostly professors are the Ph.D holders. They are very friendly to each student, which creates a nice bond between teacher & student. The method of teaching in Galgotias University is unique. The study material is also provided to us.

The placements of the University are excellent. Every year, more than 500 companies visit University campus to provide job offers to the students.

The hostel of the University is situated inside its campus, which is secured 24x7. The hostels for girls and boys are separate. The cafeteria is nearly to the hostellers until late in the night. You can play sports inside the campus. The mess food is awesome and the menu changes accordingly with seasonal veggies you can serve yourself many times inside the mess. The mess is cleaned every day. The rooms of hostel cost you around Rs. 1,30,000/- without AC and with AC, it is Rs. 1,50,000/-. You will get you hostel ID cards.

The infrastructure of University is the best. The blocks are clean and every class is huge. The academic blocks are fully furnished and the classrooms are fully air-conditioned. Each classroom has enough space to fit more than 80 students at once. There is a separate block in which you will see 2 floors which has library, AI labs, seminar halls, auditorium, meditation classes room, and many other facilities. At the campus, a variety of food is available in the cafeteria, which is uniquely placed at the centre of the University. There are vending machines on every floor at the blocks so that you can take your food outside of your class and do not have to go out again in the cafeteria.

The overall experience at Galgotias University is very amazing. There are many events, which are scheduled by the clubs. One of them is Unifest that is of 2 days and many celebrities visit the campus for the promotion of their new movies. The university not only focuses on the academics but also on the extracurricular activities. The university celebrates all the festival at its campus like Holi, Diwali, Garba Night, New Year, and many more. My experience at Galgotias University is just next level.
