RGMCET Kurnool: Education, Facilities, and Campus Life

Overall Rating
I chose this College because of higher placements as nearly more than 50% students get placements every year from our College. Before applying, I also heard that this College has better faculty for teaching and it is true. Seniors in this College are very helpful in academics as they give their study materials, manuals after exams. This College is different from other Colleges in terms of facilities like AC classrooms, auditoriums, lecture galleries, libraries, digital boards etc. Clubs are also present in our College.
 

Academics Rating
I chose CSE (with Data Science) in RGMCET Kurnool and my motive to choose this is my interest in coding, software development from my intermediate standard. Eligibility criteria for this College is getting more than 60 marks i.e., below 40,000 rank in AP EAMCET exam conducted by government of Andhra Pradesh after twelfth standard. In addition, the admission process is online counselling, web options i.e., selection of Colleges in priority wise, College will be allotted based on our marks and rank in entrance exam.
The tution fees of my course Rs. 59,400/- per annum. In this, admission fees is Rs. 2000/-, training and placement fees is Rs. 10,000/-, lab & library fees is Rs. 3000/- and Rs. 1500/- respectively. Also, it is same for all categories students.
 

Faculty Rating
Professors are highly experienced and teach us in an easy and interactive manner, especially my knowledge regarding coding, mathematics developed very well after joining this College. Their method of teaching is through PPTs, digital boards, and interactive sessions. Our problems are solved in creative way and made us to train in the same way. Teacher to student ratio is 1:7. Faculty is more accessible and engaging in solving our doubts. Once I failed in semester exams, our faculty guided me to complete my backlogs.
 

Placement Rating
Placement opportunities are provided by my College. This helps good students get jobs even before completion of final exams. Renowned companies like Tech Mahindra, TCS, Wipro, and many others offer job letters to our College students. Average package is eight lakhs per annum and highest package is 24 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Rajeev Gandhi Memorial College of Engineering and Technology, Kurnool offers hostel facilities to the students who secured seat in our College. Our hostel is so big & it provides 133 rooms. In some rooms, four students share the same room and in some two students per room. Single rooms also present. Fans, cots, shelves, and other necessary facilities are present in each room. Girls' and boys’ hostels is separate. Non-vegetarian meals are served twice a week. Hostel gate is closed after 12 PM.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus of the College is huge situated in outskirts of the city. Trees are present wherever necessary giving cool and peaceful environment. Classrooms have seating capacity of more than hundred students. ACs, digital boards, speakers, etc. are present in each class. Auditorium, lecture galleries, labs, libraries with wide range of engineering books is present. Bus transport available. Entrance and exits of the College is guarded by security personnel. Playgrounds and labs are my favorite place where I can learn practical skills and engage in different events.
 

Campus Rating
My overall experience about the campus life of the college is awesome. Along with academics, I can say that future job opportunities are best when we graduate from this on the basis of my senior students life. Overall, I am having a great learning experience. Cricket and Kabaddi clubs are present and I am the part of Kabaddi club. We won second place in Kabaddi at zonal level. Fests like fresher's day, college day and farewell party are conducted every year giving one best memories in my life.

    It is one of the best engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh. 90% of placement offers. I have chosen this college, because of its experience in educating the students. Less college fee is also the reason for me to choose this college. I can suggest others to join this college, because one can easily adapt for the college and hostel atmosphere, even the food in hostel can be liked by everyone.     The foremost reason why I chose this institute is about the studies in this college. The academic regulation is very good. As an Electronic and Communication Engineering student I can say that this institute is good to enhance the skills and explore new things. For ECE students this institute is good as the chances of getting the dream hardware job are high. ECE is the branch with more strength of students.
