G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering is one of the most popular private Colleges in Nagpur. It is decent with academics, campus life, and placements. It is famous for its cultural fests as well. Different departments of the College host Hackathons for students. The campus is comparatively small but clean and neat. There are practical labs for students consisting of sufficient computers. The placements are also good with average package of 4 LPA. Overall, the College is good.

I chose B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence because I was drawn towards the new field of technology. You need to give MHT CET or JEE Main to get into the College. I had passed CET with decent percentile. At my time of admission, the cutoff for AI was not that high but now it may has become more than 80. After you get the result, you can go for the CAP round. There are 3 rounds you get to enter the College names. If you do not get your preferred College in the first cap round then go for the next ones. There are 2 semesters in one year. You will pass the semester exams easily if you have attended the classes or read the material provided by the lecturers.

The fee varies for different categories. As I am OBC and entered the College through CAP round, I had to pay around Rs. 94,000/- in first year and then around Rs. 87,000/- in the next years. Scholarships are provided to the students.

The faculties are pretty decent. They are well qualified in their areas. They have well-structured plan for the completely undergraduate program. They give you assignments as per the subjects. Faculties are in good amount as compared to the students. Mostly, the lecturers use PPTs to explain the subject. I had a neutral bonding with faculty members. Some faculties have really beautiful nature and some can be tough. I just tried to mind my own business and not trouble them much.

Many companies come for campus placements. They got the Placement Cell for managing the placements of College. You will get placements there. Avg package offered is 4 LPA.

They provide hostel facilities for students but I did not join the hostel so cannot tell much.

The campus is small as compared to other Colleges but it is well structured, clean, and neat. They have a good library with multiple books from Engineering only. They got the canteen and the food over there is also good and affordable. There are multiple labs for practical. They also got the lift. Overall, campus is decent. It is a good place to study.

Overall, it is just decent College. The students are mostly from Nagpur and also from different cities. There are different clubs in the College. In addition, extra-curricular activities are held over there. Antaragni is the most famous event of the College where students take part in various activities is it sports, cultural, or technical. I had a decent College life over there. Try to engage with people and participate in extracurricular activities as much as you can while preparing for placements.
