Campus Life at Banasthali Vidyapith Jaipur: Clubs, Events, and Much More

Overall Rating
Banasthali Vidyapith is a nice place for graduation. Some people find it hard to fit in because of its unique rules and system to be followed. But once you do fit in, you learn a lot, that you can't really learn in any other University I believe. Academically, it's a good University as the teachers are highly qualified and supportive.
 

Academics Rating
Academics at Banasthali Vidyapith, Jaipur are good. Professional courses are great. Admission process of the University varies based on what course you want to pursue. Some require to pass entrance exams, while some just require your merit based entry. Exams are held under strict invigilation.
For my course i.e., B.A, the fee is upto Rs. 2,00,000/- per year, including tuition, registration, hostel, and other charges. Eligible students can also apply for scholarships as well.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is average. Some are genuine good as they are highly experienced and supportive. Each teacher has its own preferred way of teaching. Some use PPTs while others employ blackboards. I'm majoring in Psychology, so they conduct discussion and debate sessions. I have had a good time connecting with them.
 

Placement Rating
Placements can be improved. However, many Internship opportunities are offered to the students of courses like B.Tech, Biotechnology, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel life is pretty okay affordable. You have to live with 2 to 3 students in one room. Ph.D students get their single room though. Electrical items like kettles aren't allowed. The curfew timing starts from 8 PM at night. Food quality varies from hostel to hostel. You get your accommodation based on your course. You also have right to choose your own roommate.Food varies from hostel to hostel. It's not the best though. You get your accommodation based on your course and you have the right to choose your own roommate if you have any preferences.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Overall infrastructure of Banasthali Vidyapith Jaipur is average. Campus is really big though, you might get tired from walking to one place to other. There are different buildings for each department. I wish the classrooms were air-conditioned. Students can walk around, sit at the grounds, and have food at the canteens.
 

Campus Rating
Crowd of the University is honestly very vast. Many co-curricular activities are held here. There are different events and fests in each department. Also, it is compulsory for students to be part of any one club of the University. I am part of Dance club. Overall experience has been good until now.

    I don't know what made me choose Banasthali Vidyapith but I believe that it was my fate. Banasthali was all I could ask for. It gave me skills, turned me into a polished diamond, gave me the confidence that speaks for itself and most importantly, gave me a family farewell from home.     This is a great University for women. It follows Gandhian principals and promotes Khadi. You can prefer this University because it is extremely safe for Women, promotes culture and heritage of the country. It teaches almost everything including extracurricular activities like Music, Dance, Instrument playing, etc. It also has a Flying Cub.     Studying at Banasthali Vidyapith has been a very good decision for me. The University provides a safe, disciplined, and positive environment where students can focus on their studies as well as participate in many other activities too. I chose this University because of its reputation as it is a leading women's University and the fact that it offers not just education but also helps in overall development.     First of all I didn't choose this college. My father chose this for me, as one of his friends suggested that this university is good for girls. This is a women's University. What I like the most is its healthy peaceful environment and isolation from city in between nature. This University is good for nature lovers.
