My Experience as a B.Tech Student in CUK Gulbarga

Overall Rating
The overall experience of this University as a second year student is good. However, this University will teach us how to be independent and be strong to build our future by our own. I chose this University because it is Central Institution. Here, courses are available at Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral levels.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen Electronics & Communication Engineering in Central University of Karnataka Gulbarga. The entry requirements include scoring good rank in JEE Main and CUET. Further procedure my take more time.
The fee structure for my course (B.Tech) at CUK Gulbarga is Rs. 1,06,420/- P.A, including mess and hostel. For SC and ST students, there is no hostel fee. Academic and tuition fee for odd semester is Rs. 40,000/-.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are ok. They use both black and smart boards. In labs, they use smart board only. As I am from Engineering background, we have more labs sessions than class hours. In addition, there lab assistant and particular subject professor will guide us.
 

Placement Rating
Placements offered by the University are decent.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels of the University are available for the students. Mess food is good. Here, housekeeping facilities are available as well.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The total campus area is 654 acres. Canteen, post office, Bank, ATM, and others are available at the University. We have MPH where we can play indoor games and gym is available in our campus. Around 2 canteens, grocery stores, and cafes are also available. Library is very spacious and vast. There is ground for outdoor games.
 

Campus Rating
We enjoyed during fresher’s party and farewell’s party. Every department will have their own events and fests. After every successful event, there will be 2 DJ nights and events like ramp walk, food stalls, escape room, etc.

    My experience in Central University of Karnataka is overall good. This University is good and the campus is overall too environment friendly. It is situated on the outskirts of the city. I chose this University because the Geology department is so decent here. The faculties are too helpful. The difference in this University is its environment. I liked it too much.
