MRCET Hyderabad Through the Lens of a Passout Student

Overall Rating
My overall experience at this College is very good because there are talented faculties, good lab facilities, a big library, spacious ground for sports, and good infrastructure with greenery trees around the campus. Strict rules are implemented in the College. College starts at 9:30 AM and ends at 3:50 PM. it is an Autonomous Institution that is affiliated with JNTUH Hyderabad. Also, it is a constituent unit of Malla Reddy Group of Institutions (MGRI).
 

Academics Rating
In this College, I have chosen Computer Science Engineering stream under B.Tech. We can join this College by appearing in EAPCET & ECET. We can get admission via Management quota. This College has a co-education system. As for the frequency of exams, during first 2 months, there is no exam. However, after 2 months, a mid-semester exam will be conducted. After 4th month, 2nd mid-semester exam will he held. In the end, at the start of 5th month, final-semester exams will be there. We have to prepare well for exams in order to have a decent score and CGPA.
Per year fee of my program is Rs. 1,10,000/-. If you are joined through Convener quota (i.e., via entrance tests), you have to pay Rs. 75,000/- per annum. Moreover, if you joined through Management quota, the fees per year will be Rs. 1,50,000/- per year. Scholarship will be provided to the students through secured seat through Convener quota.
 

Faculty Rating
The College has the most experienced faculties. All the faculty members have almost 10+years of experience in this College. Their teaching method is using digital tools facilitated at classrooms. In addition, classes are conducted via PPTs, group discussions, and seminars. As for the student to teacher ratio, there are upto 300 faculty members for nearly 5000 students. Faculties are very friendly with students as they help students not only in resolving their doubts but also in enhancing their technical skills.
 

Placement Rating
There is a separate block for placements in the Malla Reddy College of Engineering and Technology Hyderabad. Many companies like Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Knowvation, Valeo, and others came to the College campus during placement drives.
 

Hostel Rating
The MRCET Hyderabad also provides hostel facilities. We are also provided with delicious food, 3 times in a day. Menu includes non-vegetarian dishes. Hot water, 24/7 Wi-Fi, gym, and many others are available at the hostels. The gates will be closed at 7:00 PM. No one can go out without his or her parents’ permission.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of is very good. The seating capacity of each classroom is around 80 members. There is a big auditorium and upto 8 seminar halls. The gym, stationary, ATM, and canteen is also. The College provides transportation facilities via bus to day scholars. My favorite place in the College is canteen as it provides very tasty food.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life is very good. The College has huge crowd with upto 5000 students studying currently. Clubs are also there. Lots of extracurricular activities will be organised by the College from time to time. Annual day celebration, tech fest, and fresher’s parties will be conducted. Festivals like Bathukamma, Sankranti, Diwali, Ganesh Chaturthi, and others are organised as well. My overall experience about this College is very good & I will definitely suggest future students to join this College for graduation.

    Overall Rating
    The overall management is very good. Faculty is also up to mark. Placements are well and good. But infrastructure is a bit less convincing. Syllabus is also very good. Academic plan is top notch.     MRCET is the brand of excellence which mainly preferred for placement and good study. It is for the student future. So students are mainly preferred this college for good placement.
