HNLU Raipur: One of Top Law Universities in India

Overall Rating
HNLU Raipur is one of the NLUs, which are in place for more than 20 years now (as it was established in 2003), and has created generational Lawyers. It is also recognised by BCI. Ever since the appointment of new vice chancellor, it has seen tremendous changes. So, overall many inspiring stories and greatest academics have made my experience amazing.
 

Academics Rating
Ever since the 50 lectures per subject per semester rules have been applied in most NLUs, I think academics have seen excellent changes. Our University was the first one to implement that and was also awarded by BCI for that. To get admission in this College, students should have valid CLAT score.
Around Rs. 2,00,000/- is our yearly fees yearly. We also have to pay for hostels and mess too, which is Rs. 65,000/-.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are great professionals. The moment the semester starts, within a week faculties starts calling up students to ask them what researches they will be doing in this semester. So, every semester they have pushed students to write research papers and get it published. Only Law students will understand the importance of their researches being published and it's the faculties of our University who have made us understand that importance.
 

Placement Rating
Many top Law firms have started coming to HNLU Raipur after the new vice chancellor appointment. In the end, I can definitely say that the placement support & opportunities offered here is excellent.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are average. Food is good and it's the evening meal where the highest crowd is seen. Fee is nominal. Even though there are some issues but on safety point, I would give it highest rating, especially for girl’s hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The University is too far from the city centre. It has a huge campus, having a large number of facilities like good canteen, sports, and emergency medical facilities. M even at night students is seen sitting, dancing, and singing, around the campus. Most of the students here are fitness freak and thus gym and badminton courts are always gushed.
 

Campus Rating
One can't sit in their room and do nothing if they are studying at this University. Late evening walks and gathering outside mess is what I have done all four years so far and will be continuing with that even in my last few months. Moot researches and moot competitions have to be the highlight of our campus life.

    Overall Rating
    Upon clearing CLAT, a few concerns of students are often “how is the campus” & “how are the facilities”. HNLU has a great campus and facilities, beginning from infrastructure to faculty everything are good. Even though it is around 25 kms from the main city still availability of transportation is not an issue. The college has its own bus services which start every evening at 4.     I was a nervous student in 2015, having just given CLAT waiting for counseling to know which college I was getting into. I was allotted Hidayatullah National Law University, which had got the tag of "Best Upcoming NLU" that year. I was excited and eager to become a part of this university. The joining process was smooth. CLAT marks and school documents were checked and my admission was confirmed after paying the fees.
