Overall Rating
I am currently studying Computer Engineering from this Institute. Overall, my experience has been average. I chose this Institute mainly because of its location and fee structure. The campus environment is generally peaceful and the Institute has decent infrastructure. One thing that I like is students get opportunity to participate in technical activities, cultural programs, and sports competition. I feel students need to take their own initiative for internship and career preparation.

Academics Rating
The Institute provides admission in top Engineering programs at UG & PG levels. I chose this program because I have always been interested in programming and learning new technology and especially AI. Admission in this Institute is generally based on the score of entrance examination. Exams are conducted regularly & some of these are internal assessment, practical tests, and semester & University examination. The academics in first year are unmatched in this Institute.
The fee for my chosen program is Rs.1,16,000/- per year but I am a EWS category student so I need to only pay Rs.66,789/- per year. The registration, admission, and tuition fees are included in this amount. There are scholarships for students as per their background and category.

Faculty Rating
My experience with faculty members from this Institute has been mixed. Some teachers clear all concepts and are also approachable when student have doubt. However, this experience can differ from student to student and teacher to teacher. Teaching is done through a combination of blackboard, PPT presentation, and practical sessions. For subjects like open electives, computer organization & microprocessor, and computer networks, practical explanations, and diagrams are helpful.

Placement Rating
Placement related activities organised at PVPIT Pune generally include company presentations, recruitment drive, aptitude tests, preparation interviews, and other career guidance activities. There is a Placement Cell in the Institution that links the students and the recruiting companies. I would recommend students to start preparing for placement well before their final year is the fetting until companies start visiting the campus.

Hostel Rating
The hostel facilities are good compared to the fees you pay. It has gym and many other amenities. Food can be improved though.

Infrastructure Rating
PVPIT Pune has a decent campus with academic buildings, classrooms, laboratories and other facilities required for Engineering education. The campus is located at the Bavdhan, Pune and it is surrounded by forest area. Personally, I really like the in overall campus environment because it is relatively peaceful for studying. Overall, the infrastructure is decent but there is scope for improvement.

Campus Rating
Campus life is generally decent and depends on a lot of and how involved you are in activities. The student crowd is mix of students from different backgrounds and branches. Apart from academics, students get opportunities to participate in technical activities, cultural programs, sports, and various other events. The Institute conducts different activities throughout the academic year. Personally, I feel campus is neither extremely active nor boring so you can have good experience if you actively involved.

My overall experience at this Institute has been great. Faculty is great and very supportive towards students. Academics are taken really seriously to maintain the reputation of the Institute. An internal hackathon is conducted every year where a huge number of students participate. My overall experience is good but I believe there is a lot of scope for improvement. One thing I like the most about Institute is the support of faculty members and the way they encourage their students to learn new ... Read Full Review
