This is no doubt; BNM Institute of Technology is one of the top 10 engineering colleges in Bangalore. The college is well equipped with good learning infrastructure. It is very academic oriented; you will end up getting good grades and placements at the end too. There is a cricket couching held by the college for the college team which is free. A badminton ground is there in the college. The college expects high discipline among students, collar t-shirt is a must, no funky outfits. There are more of such rules to be fallowed. But if you are ready to strive hard for 4 yrs I can assure your success.

The main highlight of BNM Institute of Technology is its academics. There are very good teaching faculty, and their autonomous based curriculum is built to industry demand. There is lot of courses which aren't there in many top colleges too like IoT in the first year itself. It fallows average of 3 internals pattern. Getting along with the syllabus is pretty comfortable. It is very systematic you have access to all the college resources and a dedicated student office is provided. Along with a resource pen drive. It also has a well equipped library and digital access too. Getting a seat for BE in computer related field here requires KCET rank of about 10-15k and it depends on the branch.

There are very good teaching faculty. We have most number of faculty who has PhD in their respective field. The support provided by the faculty side is good. They have clear instructions and well planned schedule. As the syllabus is neatly aligned. There is ease of getting required study materials. The faculty will provide with PDFs for study purpose.

BNMIT is known for its placement statistics. The placement and training cell is very efficient and successful in bringing big companies like Cisco, Samsung, Infosys, Cognizant, TCS etc. The average package is about 5 LPA. But for IT related streams like CSE, ISE, AIML and also ECE. There is a lot more oppourtinies to bag a bigger package. The highest package was 42 LPA. A skilled student in any IT branch can easily get 6-8 LPA. And if you have done good internship you can get 12 LPA and above.

We have hostel facilities in our college. The boys’ hostel is just a bit far away from the college campus, bus facilities for pick up and drop from hostel to college is provided. Girls’ hostel is within the campus so there is no need of any travel. The hostel has different room sharing options whose price will vary. Our college has vegetarian food only, both in hostel meals and in canteen.

BNMIT has a very green campus. With lot of care to environment. You find green plants and flowers all around, a beautiful fountain, aquariums, pet cats which glorifies the campus. Being located in the center of a city and in a residential area it doesn't have a huge open space like a field. But it has got an indoor badminton, table tennis. Also a carom and chess board. It has a vegetarian canteen which is affordable and good. It has 3 main blocks. And the auditorium is very sophisticated and well equipped.

The campus life in BNMIT is good. The crowd is decent and there is no ragging or anything as such. It’s easy to find likeminded people here and who can align with your thinking. As the intake of students is not very high, you will be having a good chance to showcase your talent, and to get recognized. If you’re thinking of a very colorful college life, fancy clothing, hangouts etc. you will most probably not be satisfied.
