Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College B.A Review By Saurav Mavi

When I passed my 12th class I thought to take admission in Delhi University. In starting I wanted to take admission in any north campus college but when I researched and also visited many north campus college other than the top colleges I found that there is myth in many student to take admission in colleges on rumour bases that north campus is best for admission, personally I liked Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College more than any north campus college. It has many facilities that north campus colleges doesn't have such as big library, big playground etc.

If I talk about academics than I prefer my college for arts and science stream as I pursued Bachelor of Arts from this college and I also have many friends from science stream and commerce stream that why I know that ARSD have best faculties for arts stream and science stream than commerce stream, when I had taken admission in this college I got admission on merit bases from my intermediate number but now you have to enroll in CUET than you got admission in this college so we can say that the basic eligibility required is CUET. And my motivation for enrolling in this college is its NIRF ranking which is 7 in all India many north campus and high profile colleges stand behind ARSD College.

If I talk about faculties than I rate my college 10 out of 10 as faculties are very student friendly also they are always available for any queries even they supported student in their mental health by organising many special seminars and addressing student how to get rid of depression. They are very familiar also. They are very punctual about time. My teachers had taken classes with 10% of total strength of my class. When I was in my first semester I liked my Hindi discipline teacher very much as she was a PhD holder and also a senior professor of my college she is very much supportive in my whole first year. Faculties teach all students according to the students for example they teach in bilingual language for easy understanding.

Yes we have a placement cell in our college which work very actively. They always get in touch with student through online (Gmail, whatsapp etc.) and offline (seminars, orientation program) bases. Every year a job mela is organised in college named as “intern-o-fiera”, many MNCs had recruited students from college in 2022. 200+ student of under graduate courses had got placement.

No college does not have hostel facilities.

Infrastructure of college is very advanced as it includes ramp facility for handicapped students also it includes special washrooms for handicapped students. The washrooms for normal student are also very advanced and clean. All floors have water coolers for students. Whole infrastructure is renewed in recent time. Also a big auditorium is under construction, infrastructure of my college includes a big cafeteria, open auditorium, three special closed auditorium for seminars, big library, laboratory for computer and chemistry and physics, three ground etc. My college have three academics blocks of three floors.

Campus life of Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College is very good as I got admission in this college after lockdown so I was expecting a good friendly environment from the college, I never faced ragging in my college even my seniors are very friendly. Talking about the crowd I can say that ARSD have outstanding crowd, talking about the clubs ARSD don’t have clubs inside the campus but Satya Niketan (a nearby place of college) is full of clubs and cafe. An annual fest is organised in college named as “TIDE"” also many fest are organised by various societies of college such as NCC's fest and “Aarambh” fest of culture society "Rangayan". We can conclude that every year college had 9-10 fest official and unofficially.
