The AVS Engineering College, Salem started in the year 2008. I am from the 5th batch and till now they have placed students very well at genuine companies.

The college offers B. E. - Electrical Electronics Engineering degree along with that they have Schneider Electric Company Incubation Center for students training. The college will increase its academic performances as they now have a management and counseling seats for entry. The college also provides scholarship and fee reduction for students with high cutoffs.

The AVS Engineering College has high experienced staff for teaching and they are very friendly. The staff members give ideas and encourage the students for doing many projects and present those projects outside the college also. They also guide and help students during placements.

The college has a separate placement cell for students. It helps the students to get placed well at reputed companies.

The college has good hostel facilities for boys and girls separately and it has also has food courts.

The infrastructure of the college is good and it has separate academic blocks. They have facilities for all departments like machine labs, computer labs, electronics labs, communication labs, and mechanical labs. There are library facilities available here with approximately 20,000+ books available and each department has a separate library. Bus facilities are also available around Salem district and Dharmapuri. Gym facilities are available for both boys and girls to develop sport skills among students.

Overall campus life is very positive and good. The college has separate clubs and activities like Red Cross, Blood Donation, NCC, NSS, Rotary Club, and many more. Under these clubs there are student engagement activities for developing their thoughts about the society. The college celebrates many memorable days like alumni day and achievers’ day.
