GREAT BRANCHES BUT MIGHT HAVE TO COMPROMISE ON CAMPUS

Overall Rating
The branches here are good and with a lot of futuristic scopes. ECE with AI and ML, CS with Data Analytics, and CS with the Internet of Things will all have excellent scope in the future.
 

Academics Rating
Courses offered are ECE (with AI and ML), CS (with Data Analytics), and CS (with Internet of Things). Entry requirements are that the candidate should have qualified JEE Mains and then have to sit for JAC Delhi counseling. The cutoff might vary based on one's quota (Outside Delhi or Delhi as home state). 85% seats are reserved for Delhi based applicants. So, Outside Delhi Students need 96 percentile+ to enter here
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is decent and highly qualified. Most of the teachers are supportive and will always help you. You may face issues in 1 or 2 teachers’ class as they are too much strict at times, rest all professors are good. Some professors use PPTs while most of them believe in conventional Board-Marker style of Teaching. Attendance is very strict. You need to have at least 75% attendance to sit in exams and except one or two professors everyone takes attendance very seriously.
 

Placement Rating
NSUT East Campus does have their placement cell but in the end placement is to be done from the Main Campus only. I can't provide placement statistics as of now as no batch has been passed yet from these 3 branches that are in the East Campus. Taking Main Campus' placements in account the average package for CSE branch is around 17 LPA while for ECE it's 15 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Currently, there are no residential facilities here. A girls’ hostel is under construction and might get started in 1.5 - 2 years. Boys might have to wait longer for a fully functional hostel. Students generally either rent a flat in or go for a PG nearby.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus has 8 blocks (A to H). All labs are now properly equipped. Recently a lot of equipment has been purchased and a new AI lab has been made which is fully functional now. One would never have any issue in labs because of lack of equipments. There is also one small canteen in the campus where you can go and have food. The canteen is decent and pricing is also king of average. Sports facilities are decent and not very good. There is a Basketball court, open gym, volleyball court, and Football-cum-Cricket ground. TT Room as well.
 

Campus Rating
This is the part where east Campus lacks. You won't have a very good campus life as campus is very small and there are very little activities to do. Though management is trying to improve the facilities. Recently Chapters of Cultural, Technical and Literary Societies (of Main Campus) have been formed here and lot of events are being organised. But yes you won't have very good campus life here.

    NSUT New Delhi has been hands-down the best university I could get. Being a JEE aspirant, I always aimed at the tier -1 universities. Getting into NSUT, gave me the top tier seniors, alumni network, competitive peer group, and an amazing campus life.
