The admission process is direct if you score a good grade in 12th standard. The college has a great management system with different departments for every sector. The college is ranked among the top 20 Physiotherapy colleges of India.

I joined Bachelor of Physiotherapy. There is no entrance examination for the course but your 12th % decides your admission. The course is definitely very good. The fee structure of the course is also not very high and quite affordable. The knowledge that I gained from this college shall always stay with me for lifetime. My experience here has been amazing throughout 4 year duration. In a nutshell, the campus, the buildings, the labs, the teachers, the curriculum and everything else was worthy.

The first year had a total of 7 subjects. Among them, Anatomy, Physiology, biomechanics were the practical and theory based subjects while others were only theory based subjects. Anatomy was fun to study. We had a big anatomy lab in the homeopathy college where we used to go and dissect the dead bodies or cadaver. The faculties teaching the anatomy subject were very nice and cooperative. They taught us really well. Anatomy itself is a huge subject and a failure to learn this result in a lifetime of drawbacks. But, our faculties taught really well along with the practical. We had seen almost all the organs and bones and were able to recognize them easily.

Coming to the physiology subject, apart from the theory, we also were able to test for hemoglobin level in blood, bleeding time, clotting time, measuring Blood pressure and many more which are utterly necessary for the full development of a young and budding physio. In the first year, for our whole personality development, we had Psychology, Psychiatry and Sociology as subjects too. In the second year, we had exercise therapy, electrotherapy, pathology, microbiology and pharmacology as our subjects. The faculties are well experienced and have in depth knowledge about the syllabus and curriculum. There are not just the regular faculties but also guest lecturers from outside. There are doctors, surgeons coming as guest lecturers.

To make us adept Physiotherapists, University held seminars, international workshops time to time. The placements are student run. Physiotherapists can work as freelancers too. So, placement is not a problem for any Physiotherapist.

There is a hostel with a mess facility for girls. There is a bus facility available too for the day scholars to travel back and forth with fixed yearly charges.

The department of Physiotherapy, Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University hails in the city of lakes, Udaipur. Being in one of the most beautiful cities of India, it definitely has an upper hand amongst other Physiotherapy colleges of India. Coming to its premises, it is located in the outskirts of the city, an area called Dabok. The city Airport, Maharana Pratap Airport lies within 3-4 Kms. The beauty of the city is a widely known thing. Coming to the college, the college is affiliated to one of the oldest and renowned University of the city, Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University with acronym set as JRNRV. The campus is very big and has campuses of other University affiliated colleges lying in proximity such as there is a homeopathy college at the entrance and towards the right side, going further, you will find a B.Ed college towards the left side with a huge playground.

All these colleges are affiliated to the same University. Now, the college premise consists of a very big light yellow colored building with two floors where the classes run. Just at the entrance of the college, there is an office area attached to which is a staff room for all the faculties. The college had spacious classrooms with an accommodating capacity of around 80 people. The library was huge and consisted of all the required books, everyday journals, English newspapers, computers and a free Wi-Fi connection. Our most of the free time was spent in the library. In short, it has all the necessary things required by the students.

For our overall development and recreation, co curricular activities were organised every year. Be it a fresher party, a farewell party, an annual function, sports week with both indoor and outdoor sports competition were held.

To keep us away from the doldrums of monotonous of the studies, the college organised picnics and trips where we used to have a lot of fun.

The annual function consisted of a dance competition, a singing competition, ramp walk and many more. I had participated in many competitions and won many awards. The sports week holds a variety of indoor as well as outdoor sports competition like badminton, tennis, kabaddi, tug of war, chess, carrom, drawing competition and many more.
