Overall Rating
I am a computer Science student in 2nd year. Till now my experience in the college is very satisfying. Shankara College is a big college with many faculties. I am in this college because of lower fees than other colleges. This college is the best college. In the college Many students study. I like Shankara College.
 

Academics Rating
The Academics of the college are satisfactory. If you want to take admission then visit or go to the college website. The students from PCM stream can join this course. B. Tech course gives opportunities in private as well as government fields. So if you want to take placements then join the B. Tech course.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty in Shankara College is good. There are almost 200 teachers including some other non teaching staff. There are separate HODs for each department. The teachers of my department are mostly graduated from IITs. They teach us very professionally and I like the way of their teaching.
 

Placement Rating
The placement is good in the college. There is a placement cell also. Our placement head is very good. There are almost 200 companies that visit our college. The average package is about 4 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostels are good but the main problem is with the hostel food. The mess is unhygienic and food quality is also not good. Otherwise the hostels are provided with proper security of wardens.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Shankara College is very big. There are about 15 to 20 buildings including hostels. I like the college. Other amenities such as library and cafeteria are also available. The lecture halls are also good. There is a big playground in which we can play many sports. The college also provides free medical service 24*7 hours.
 

Campus Rating
I am just in the 2nd year and till now I have enjoyed a lot in the college. I like the technical fests organised in the college such as Power Hack, Zombie, etc. Cultural programs are also celebrated. There are different clubs in the college such as Coding Club, Electric Vehicle Club, Power Club, Chess Club, Radio Club, etc.
