YSR Engineering College B.Tech Review By Abhi Manyu

I am from the Electrical and Electronics Engineering stream in YSR Engineering College of Yogivemana University, Proddatur. It is an excellent college to learn values and behavioral matters. As far as education in our stream is concerned it is very strict and well disciplined. Education wise the college is at a moderate level and there is a big support to the sports students. The faculties are well talented. The support that we receive from the faculties is excellent. As the college infrastructure, education, and environment is very good so I chose this college. I will suggest you all to join this college as the faculties and the management is really good.

Coming to the courses in our college, B. Tech course is available. In B. Tech there are several streams such as Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, CSE, and MMT. To join this college there is an entrance test EAMCET for intermediate students and ECET for diploma students. Eligibility to join this college is that one should get a better rank in the entrance test.

The faculty at the institute is very talented. In my stream there are strict faculty members who made students to be well mannered at everything. One permanent faculty is there and rests of all are on contract basis. Even though they are on contract basis, they are qualified faculties and their teaching is very good. The bond between the faculty and students is very nice, we feel like they are our family and they are very supportive to us in every aspect. I am glad to have such amazing faculty in my academic career.

Yes, we have a placement cell at our institute. Their way of training the students is excellent. The trainings conducted for the students are really helpful. They give more priority to the student matters. Because of newly established college, the placements are in low count in our campus.

Yes, there are residential facilities in our college. Infrastructure is very good in the hostels. The food in the hostel is nice and the menu in the hostel is quite interesting and we feel like home in the hostel.

In our college, presently we have two blocks in which the classes and labs for all the branches are conducted. Every block contains excellent classrooms for each branch. There are labs for every stream. There is also a library in our college which is useful for every student who decides to read in a peaceful place. At present the construction of two more blocks is taking place and by the end of this year the blocks will come into use and a separate central library block is also under construction. In two years the infrastructure of our college will be the best in this state.

Overall campus life is very good. The students are in more number and participate in every situation as a crowd. There are many camps regarding blood donations and plant cultivation. There are fests conducted by every branch which are more learnable and enjoyable. On every special occasion there will be a celebration at the seminar hall. The other activities are conducted like college day, farewell parties, etc.
