My Journey at Babu Banarasi Das University, Lucknow

Overall Rating
Babu Banarasi Das is one of the best private colleges in Lucknow. Students get very good amount of opportunities to explore the academic life as well as social life. Babu Banarasi Das college provides the students many extracurricular activities and skill development programs which are very good for them to get good placements. According to my experience it’s a good college.
 

Academics Rating
BA LL.B is a good course for students who are interested to pursue their career in field of law. Students get vast amount of knowledge. There is no entry requirement as here direct admission is done based on your 12th mark sheet where you have score minimum 55% marks (for general category) or 45% marks (for OBC / SC / ST categories). BBD is famous for its extracurricular activities and for skill training programs. The college organises debate sessions for the improvement in debating skills.
 

Faculty Rating
Overall faculty of law in BBD is decent and the academic staff is overall good. Some NLU graduates are also there to help us. Academic staff has minimum 5 years of teaching experience in field of law. All the faculty members are very supportive and help us in every breaker of the road. Their style of teaching is very good as they use interactive methods for teaching.
 

Placement Rating
Placement cell at BBD is very active and provides good placement to every average and above average student who has good amount of knowledge in a specific field.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel experience is quite decent as students get a neat and clean hostel. The hostel facilities are very good. The hostel mess and canteen also provides good amount of food which also tastes good. I paid Rs. 65,000 per year for a non AC room with 4 people sharing.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of Babu Banarasi Das is very huge. Students get good opportunities to explore college life with huge campus. Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta sports stadium is also there in the campus and has a capacity to accommodate more than 20,000 spectators. The stadium is extensively used for outdoor games like Cricket, Football, and the Fest is also organised by the college.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life of Babu Banarasi Das University is very good as the students get good chance to participate in skill training programs organised by the college. College also organises TechFest, government programs, sports activities, and sports competition in the campus.

    My experience at Babu Banarasi Das University has been very good and I am very happy that I got admission in this University. I chose this University because my brother is an alumnus and now he is working at a really good post. He suggests me to get admission in this University and the fee as compared to other private Universities is low.... Read Full Review

    Overall, the university is good, has a nice environment, good campus, supportive faculties, good atmosphere to study and offers good education. The students are well-disciplined and oblige to the rules & regulations. The security system is tight with CCTV cameras around the campus and security guards for students’ safety.     Our university is nice overall. As a good part the infrastructure, campus and building are good and huge. But don't choose the hostel it is not good at all. Canteens are decent. Our college has BCCI approved stadium and ground. Our college provides good awareness in sports and others like dance and singing and modeling also.
