This college is one of the best reputed colleges in the entire Kolhan area. Here, teachers are very helpful and supportive. Their way of teaching is quite unique and it is the only college we can say in the entire Chaibasa District which manages to complete the whole syllabus before the exam. Karim City is quite popular in Jharkhand because of its vocational courses i.e. BCA and BSC IT.

They provide almost every general course along with three vocational courses such as BCA, BSC IT, and Mass Communication. The eligibility for taking admission in BCA and BSC IT is that you must have completed your 12th class with minimum of 50% marks with Math as a compulsory subject. There are only 60 seats available every year and in just about 3 days all the seats get filled.

I am a BCA student. All the teachers are so interesting and will not get bored while attending their lectures. Their teaching skills are very good. They will teach you in depth covering all the topics from the beginning to end and never bother to solve any of your doubts. At last, I would say that the teachers of Karim City College are the best but you have to be punctual because teachers get angry easily if they see you coming late to the classes.

Yes, there is a placement cell in our college. My session will end in 2024 but my brother was also an alumnus of this college who got the placement of Rs. 1.8 LPA but later he rejected that offer to pursue Masters in Computer Application. Companies like Wipro, Infosys TCS, and Accenture visit the campus for hiring students.

No, there is no hostel available. If you are coming from other city then you would have to take PG for staying. The good thing is that you can easily get any PG and Room on a rental basis here.

Honestly saying, the campus of Sakchi is not so big. One part of Karim City College is at Mango, Jamshedpur and other one is at Sakchi, Jamshedpur. But soon in like 3 to 5 years the Sakchi campus will also get shifted to Mango. Since, Tata company has acquired the college. Campus of Mango is quite huge in size. There is no ground for playing available in the Sakchi campus. All the vocational courses and general courses are conducted in the Sakchi campus. It is a 4 storey building and the classes are good in size. There is also an auditorium where all the functions are conducted. Libraries, E-Libraries, and Reading Room are there. There is also a play room for playing indoor games like table tennis, carom, chess, etc. We can say that, like other big colleges here also all the facilities are available but the college is not so big in size.

Campus life is not so good here, since I am on Sakchi campus where there is no garden and ground available. Students take admission here just to study. If you are looking for a college where you can make millions of memories then this college will not fit you.
