Overall Rating
It is a good college with decent professors and average placement record. The teachers are highly qualified and hostels are good. The mess food and the canteen food are both average. There is a compulsory attendance requirement of 75% and the college is very strict related to attendance. The teachers are quite supportive and helpful.
 

Academics Rating
I am in B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering and the entry requirements are that one must qualify JEE Mains with a decent rank. You must have a good CGPA and have a clear aim of getting allotted in a good college. You must be focused since the 1st year to get good placement.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties of this college are good and qualified with PhD degrees. All of them are highly knowledgeable and supportive but they focus on less research and are quite good in subjective methods. They provide good marks so that the student may pass.
 

Placement Rating
Placements provided at this college are decent.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels that are provided are good and spacious.
 

Infrastructure Rating
College campus is spread in 25 acres and is not very big. There is a canteen and the campus is fully green so it looks good. It has good buildings with air conditioner rooms. There is a seminar hall for the guests so they can convey their messages.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very good with fest like Uthaan which is very good as many celebrities have performed here. Many musical concerts are held in the college in which many music bands have performed. Overall we have enjoyed the college life a lot.

    The factors that made me choose this Institute is basically the BIT MESRA degree. Being honest overall experience is average not too good. They organize fests but with many restrictions especially for girls. Although I know it’s for safety reasons.     BITS Deoghar is a part of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra which was established in 2007. The cutoff for CSE branch is 90 percentiles. The students get the degree from BIT Mesra.
