RMK Engineering College B.Tech Review By Madav Mahesh

I'm currently pursuing 3rd year in RMK Engineering college and the overall experience of the college was pretty good. If I see overall the first thing that comes to mind is their placement. Their placement record is pretty solid and companies come for campus placements right from the 6th semester, so for those people who wants a guarantee for placement, I would say that RMK is the best choice. And the other facilities like buses, food, labs, and the overall environment of the college is really good. What made me choose this institute is because it has a good placement record. I would encourage others to consider this college for the same.

The course that I’m pursuing currently is Electronics and Communication. It's a really good course if you are interested in both hardware and software. The academics in RMK college are amazing. They provide digital course material which is uploaded in their college website itself so it will be easy for everyone to access. The teachers teach each chapter in detail so we can note down points from the lecture which will be helpful in studying. They also keep tests regularly to make the students study the chapters now and then. Professors also conduct class tests regularly so that it will be easy for the students to prepare for the final semester exams. The eligibility of this course would be a good cutoff mark. The course which I'm pursuing has a good market in the future, so if you are a software and hardware enthusiast I would recommend you to take this course.

The faculties in RMK college are very friendly and outgoing. Each student has a faculty as their counselor and that faculty will guide the student from their 1st year to 4th year so whatever issue the student may have it will be solved easily by the counselor. The faculty in RMK college is really knowledgeable and they put their maximum effort to make the students understand the concepts.

RMK college is known for their placements. They have MOU's signed with big companies and they bring companies for campus right from the 6th semester itself. They assure that each and every student gets placed before he/she finishes college. They also give company specific training well before the campus process starts so it will be easy for the students to attend the interview.

RMK has well maintained and clean hostel rooms. They provide good food in hostels and they also have other facilities like gym for the hostel students to exercise and take care of their physique.

Infrastructure is amazing in the college. They have separate blocks for all the major departments. The classes are really spacious and well ventilated. The labs are well equipped. They have drinking water facility at every floor in all blocks. The washrooms are also well maintained. They have a huge library from which students can take books for studying. They also have gym and playground with cricket nets and football posts. They have a spacious mess where they provide quality and tasty food.

The overall campus life I would say is enjoyable in RMK Engineering College. All the students are friendly and ragging is completely eradicated. There are various clubs in which students can enroll themselves and participate in competitions related to their clubs. The faculties keep the students posted on various competitions that are conducted nationally so students can participate in that too, to develop their skills and win prizes.
