Review for MMV BHU, Varanasi

Overall Rating
I would say it's a really nice college to study in. Not just the syllabus or infrastructure or other materialistic things but the college is like a legacy. It’s a great honor for me to be a part of the university. Other than that I would say it is good in all the aspects that a college requires. You can definitely apply for MMV BHU.
 

Academics Rating
The syllabus of the college is pretty good. It can help you in upcoming competitive exams as well. The subject combinations that you get to choose can be very creative and different from one another. The topics covered in the classrooms are not just limited to your syllabus but the professors talk about a broader spectrum. The campus is not just limited to Arts, Science, and Commerce but there are courses for Visual Arts, Dance, Swimming, Ayurveda, and a lot more.
 

Faculty Rating
My faculty is Mahila Mahavidyalaya which is the women's college inside the main BHU campus. The teaching staff is really well at their jobs, their teaching style is on point, sometimes you can face difficulties also but they are kind enough to solve all your issues. The surrounding of Mahila Mahavidyalaya is really nice for female students.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell that looks after all the university placements. In Social Science, Arts, and Commerce fields you can acquire placements in different banks and organisations. Other than that, you can get really good placements in Science under subjects like Geophysics and Chemistry. You can try for a university placement during the last year of your course as well.
 

Hostel Rating
Banaras Hindu University is the largest residential University. There are not just student hostels but staff quarters and houses inside the campus. The hostel facility is really good in the university and especially Mahila Mahavidyalaya. There is a nice mess in every hostel. BHU IIT has some of the best hostels. Other than that, there is also a separate hostel for international students studying in the university.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is really nice. There is free Wi-Fi service for all the students of the University. There is a huge central library that has thousands of books of various fields and there is a cyber library too that remains open for 24 hours. The canteens of the faculties serve nice foods at a pocket friendly price for the students.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life is great. The university feels different from the whole city. It is a city in itself with all the necessary facilities like Hospital, Hostel, Stationary, Small Shops, etc. The campus is really pretty with greenery everywhere. There are many Student Clubs for Drama, Dancing, Painting, etc. Every faculty has its separate as well as a joint fest. The campus is less crowded. There is also a temple inside the campus with parks and a lot of other things.

    My experience is quite nice at this university. The environment is so homely especially talking of MMV BHU. The faculty is highly educated and supporting. The infrastructure is upgrading and there is a life skill development initiative which on regular basis conducts seminars to psychologically and mentally boost the students and there is also a well being session for the students where all their problems are resolved....
