Overall Rating
The National Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technology formerly known as NIFFT is one of the best colleges in India for core branches like Metallurgy and Mechanical Engineering. Recently the college added two new branches that are Computer Engineering and Production & Industrial Engineering. You can choose this college as it is very affordable and is having great return of investment in the core branches.

Academics Rating
The college provides B.Tech and Advance Diploma courses. For B.Tech currently there are four branches namely Mechanical, Mettalurgy, Computer Engineering, and Production and Industrial Engineering. Admissions to the B.Tech are done on the basis of rank secured in JEE Mains examination conducted by NTA.

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are very much qualified and almost all the professors are PhD holders from top IITs. The faculties are very helpful and kind and are always ready to help and support the students in every situation. The faculties mostly teach in English language so that all the students are comfortable in understanding as all the students are from different parts of India. The faculties complete their syllabus on time and take frequent class tests.

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell in the college. The cell is very good as many companies visit the college campus for placement and provide decent packages to the students.

Hostel Rating
The NIFFT campus is a fully residential campus. All the students taking admission in the college are allotted hostels. During the 1st and 2nd years the students get 2/3 occupancy rooms and during the 3rd and 4th years the students get a single room each. Hostels are very spacious and have all the basic facilities. Water coolers, geysers, Wi-Fi, and a mess are also inside the hostel building itself so there is no need for the students to go out.

Infrastructure Rating
Inside the campus there is a lecture hall complex where all the classes are conducted. The campus is not very big but is of a decent size. All the hostels, academic complexes, and labs are inside the campus premises. Inside the campus there is a separate building for music, computer labs, gym, and for other extracurricular activities.

Campus Rating
Overall the college is good. It provides many opportunities to the students. The campus life is not very much interesting but not too bad as well. Every year a college fest named Jinks Pranav is organised where students get a lot of opportunities to showcase their talents. During the fest many celebrities are also invited for performing. There are many clubs in the college like Music Club, Volleyball Club, Cricket Club, etc.

More than 2 years have been passed and institute life seems to be decent. National Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technology do not have a big campus area still the institute is worth taking admission due to its fees and low student intake. I choose this institute due to its advancement in manufacturing technology which is as per standards and need of the nation. They mainly focus on core sector rather than IT sector which makes this institute different.... Read Full Review
