St. Mary’s Group of Institutions is a college where many foreigners are studying because it is one of the minority colleges present in Hyderabad where foreigners have to pay low fees as compared to other universities. Overall the college is superb. It has the biggest library which is spread across 500 yards and there is also a huge cricket ground. Overall our college is spread across 15 acres of land. The St. Mary’s Group has 3 other colleges inside the premises namely SMGOIH, SMIC, and SMEC.

There are multiple courses in our college like BTech, Pharmacy, etc. More specialisation courses are offered in B.Tech now. The college only has core subjects for technology. B.Tech is divided into different groups of Computer Science Engineering. We have different sets of emerging trends like DS, AI, ML, CC, etc. With a minimum EAMCET rank you can get a seat in this college. If you are not qualified in EAMCET then you do not have to worry as they also conduct an alternate exam called Sw3 and it is an EAMCET based exam. You can qualify easily and the college will also guide you to clear the Sw3 exam.

Faculties at the institute are excellent and have good communication with students. They will clear doubts by explaining through real life or live examples so that students understand very well. Every faculty in St. Mary’s has a specialization in their respective subject. Their style of teaching is excellent and fantastic. Only we should have some basic knowledge on that subject so that it will be easy for us to understand. I've seen CSE faculty but I don't know about the Pharmacy faculty. CSE faculty is very good and up to the mark.

Yes, we have a placement cell in our campus. We have placement committee meeting once in a week where we are told about the placements and the companies that will visit the college for placements. The members in the placements cell help and guide us to land a job in a company.

Hostel is not up to the mark. According to me it is better to stay at a private hostel rather than staying at a college hostel.

Infrastructure is superb and excellent. There are many blocks and the entire infrastructure is built in an area of 15 acres. There are huge classrooms, seminar halls, etc. There is a projector in every classroom and they explain the subjects very clearly. It has the biggest library which is spread around 500 yards. As soon as you will enter the college you will see a globe at the starting point. There is a big parking space for the students and faculty. There are around 5,000 – 6,000 people of different groups.

Campus life is superb and has been filled with excitement till the last day of the college. Many events are organised by our college like college fest and almost all the festivals are celebrated in the college. Most of the students participate in all the events and fests conducted in the college. Every year we have one annual day celebration where our management invites a motivational speaker to take a class to encourage the students and motivate them to do good in academics as well.
