IITM (Institute of Innovation in Technology and Management is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, ‘A’ Grade by GNCTD and Assessed as ‘A+’ by SFRC. It is also NAAC accredited & certified by ISO 9001-2008. The college holds ranking under the top 10 colleges of IP University. It is a Co-Ed college located in Janakpuri, Delhi.

The admission process of the college begins in June. One has to clear IPU-Common Entrance Test (IPU-CET). After the result declaration, the admission is done on a rank basis. College allows Admission of those who have ranked less than 2500. There is also another way of getting Admission to the college that is through Management Quota. A person has to pay some extra fixed amount along with the admission fee to get a seat in the college. Every year college declares around 40 seats for Management Quota. Now coming onto the College Management, it is perfectly adequate. The college is managed by the Director (Main authority), then comes the HOD and then the Program Director of every course. Generally, we say that one cannot talk or consult directly with the Main Head, but it is not here in IITM. If you have some problem related to course, teacher or any subject, you can directly contact the Director. He/she will immediately help you. Overall, the management of the college is the best.

I am pursuing a BCA (Bachelors of Computer Application). Eligibility criteria for this course is a minimum of 50% (aggregate) in 12th class and, it is compulsory to pass in English subject and Mathematics or any other course-related to Information technology such as Web Applications, Computer Applications or equivalent to it. Other eligibility criteria are for those who have three years of Diploma in Engineering from the AICTE affiliated college with a minimum of 50% (aggregate) marks.

I joined BCA because I had an interest in the Computer line. Moreover, I wanted to go into the field of Information Technology. The subjects of this course are up to my expectations. Most basic knowledge, IT field demands is hand on some programming language, which with this course one learns. I learned many programming languages under this course, such as C, C++, Java, etc. After completing BCA, one can get a job with a starting package of around Rs. 3-4 lacs per annum. One can even go for higher studies such as MCA or MBA. I will prefer doing MCA after graduation because that will help in taking a master's in computer applications. Another scope is one can start his/her startup in the Computer Science field or Technical line.

The total number of faculties in my college is 79, out of which, there are approximately 36 in my course. Most of the teachers have done a Ph.D in their respective fields, and some are even pursuing it. They have 9+ teaching experience. Our college teachers are divided into two departments that are the Department of Information Technology and the Department of Management Studies and Commerce. Talking about how the teacher teaches their subject, I must say that they are doing a great job. Many coding languages are taught to us each semester, and every teacher teaches us effectively.

The best part about the college teachers is that they don't tell us to cramp out from the books, preferably they advise us to learn and help us in making self-notes for exams. But there is one issue that our college syllabus is not completed on time. Sometimes, there are cases when even after the semester ends, we are called up before the main exam for extra classes to complete the syllabus of those respective subjects. We are taught by the teachers using PPT made by them, and I find them equivalent to the books issued to us from libraries. So we don't have to search in the books for every topic and can discover everything crystal clear in the notes given by our teacher.

Training and Placement Cell of our college is the best. In the third year, around 12+ companies visit our college campus for recruitment. The top companies visiting our college is SAP and Deloitte. The highest package provided is by SAP of Rs. 4,00,000 approx. After SAP, there is Deloitte, which provides a package of Rs. 3,50,000 approximately. The rest of the companies provides a package of Rs. 2,00,000. In our college, companies for recruiting BCA students come for different profiles such as Data Analyst, Technical Support, Software Developer, etc.

Most importantly, two companies in our college are SAP and Wipro that provide WILP (Work Integrated Learning Program). Through this program, companies provide a direct M.Tech degree of 4 years and along with its work experience too. Overall, our college placement is well managed, and 90% of students get easily placed. Last year, 2017-2020 batch, 90 % of students were placed. But then, I don't think it is true because each Batch has a total of 240 students, and out of that, around 40 students cannot apply for the companies due to their backlogs. Out of the left ones, more than half of the students go for higher studies. So basically, this 90% is around 50-60 students who get placement. For internships, our college is having an internship cell naming INTERNWARE. This cell provides Internships to us in various domains such as Web Development, PR, Content Writer, Social Media Handler, and many more. In all, the placement cell of our college is active and exemplary.

There is no such hostel facility provided by the college.

The college comprises of two buildings, and those are two different branches of IITM College. One is IITM, and another one is IINTM. These two colleges have Different faculties, and Different reception, rest all the facilities provided is similar between the two. There is an extended cafeteria in my college. In the Cafeteria, one can have both local and brand food. At one end, there is a local canteen provided by the college. All the items provided there is below Rs. 130. At the other end of the cafeteria, you will find a Nestle Brand mini shop where one can eat cup noodles and many different varieties of coffees. Then there is one large-sized, well-furnished and fully AC library in our college. There around 70 students can sit at a time. Our college library is well placed, and you can sit there for hours and hours. There you can do self-study or group study. In IINTM, there are 6 floors including the basement. There are 3 staff rooms situated at an even level in the building. Our college also has 3 Labs where we are taught programming languages.

There is also a Wi-Fi facility in our college, but we cannot use it. It is only allowed to be used by the college staff. There is one auditorium in another building, a big spaced Auditorium but the AC facility is not proper there. But our college infrastructure lacks in few Basic and Important facilities. There is no Hygienic or well-placed Washroom facility in our college. Our college has many classrooms with AC facilities, but AC works in few classes only. There is no such medical facility in our college. If you get injured, you can ask for a medical help at the reception. Overall, our college infrastructure is good.

The campus life of IINTM is best. I mean it full of fun and chill life. Till the time of graduation, one can be fully developed in both the areas, academic and nonacademic. My college consists of many societies like Dance Society, Quiz Society, Drama Society, and many more.

Most important of them is the Drama Society and Dance Society. Our college Drama Society name is KRAANTI, and it has won many inter-college competitions.

There are many nearby restaurants situated and many places to hang out near the college.

In a year, our college holds many fests. There are three main College fests held in our college that are Techtonics Event mainly for IT students, Management Euphoria held by management students, and Last but not least, College Fest is held around February. The best thing about my college is that one may find himself/herself developing at a continuous pace in every term. Our college teacher pushes the students to even participate in competitions such as Quiz competitions, Dance Competitions, and many for one's self-development. Also, there are many inter-college competitions held in our college every year. Various brands promotes their products and services by providing us funds for these fests.
