St Martin's Engineering College B.Tech Review By Sravan Kumar

There are so many reasons why I chose this college. The infrastructure, faculty, healthy atmosphere, and sports are my favorite parts of this college. The area of this college is around 17 acres, it might sound small but it has everything you need and want. The healthy atmosphere of college attracts students to come to the college regularly. Over the past few years, St. Martin’s has had a very good record and participation in sports. It has an indoor and outdoor gym for players to train. This college has perfect ground which is quite big enough for sports like cricket, football, and volleyball. It also has a beautiful outdoor basketball court near the entrance gate. The parking area is quite big enough. College timings are comfortable for everyone and buses are available too. There is zero ragging in the college. Seniors are very friendly and kind to juniors.

Coming to the academics, many seniors and passed-out students told me about academics and placements in this college. After joining all of my expectations were fulfilled. The quality of teaching is top-class. The curriculum here is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field and it makes everyone job-ready. Apart from the main syllabus, they also include international conferences expos, etc., which is a very good experience. For example, my branch is Electronics and Communication; recently they held an international conference related to the subject EDC (Electronic Devices And Circuits) and Applied Python Programming. We gave seminars and presentations related to the project we have chosen. We got to know about the subject and this also improved our communication and teamwork. I am now very excited for future opportunities.

The Faculty of St. Martin’s is very kind, friendly, and humble to the students. Teachers here are well-trained and well-experienced. They have complete knowledge of their respective subjects. They blend in very easily with the students and help them with everything. They use the best training methods to teach. They are hard-working. Let me tell you how friendly they are. Usually, teachers forget their students after they cleared their semester but faculty in this college are completely different in a positive way. My first-semester English teacher still remembers me and asks me about my new semester.

The quality of placements at St. Martin’s College has been increasing every year. Almost all the students get placed here. The highest package was around 65 LPA in the CSE department. All of the big multinational companies hire students from St. Martin’s Engineering College.

I am not a hostel student but as far as I know through my friends who are in college hostel, they say the college offers the best rooms and well-maintained bathrooms. The food is very nice and balanced. They have parent visiting hours and can talk to their parents anytime.

The best part about this college is its infrastructure. The college’s premises is around 17 acres as mentioned, it also has a beautiful basketball court, indoor and outdoor gym, volleyball courts, football ground, and outdoor badminton courts. This college has a huge library which contains thousands of books for students to refer. Bathrooms are well maintained which is also important. Every class has its own projector for better experience in teaching. Classes are big enough and well maintained. Drinking water is available every time. This college offers the best infrastructure.

I am experiencing the best days of my life in this college. Currently, I am in a sports club and we have tournaments going on regularly. We have different clubs like STREET CAUSE which helps needy people by organising events and concerts in colleges. So, every year we have events that we enjoy a lot which relax us from academic stress. Everything is balanced in this college and I think this helps students to decide on their college. This is my honest review of St Martin’s College.
