Thakur College of Science and Commerce (TCSC) is one of the best colleges for both stream science and commerce located in Mumbai in one of the best areas of Kandivali (East), Thakur village giving it a perfect blend of education and culture. The college is near western express highway and a bit at distance from kandivali station, but you can get all modes of transport to reach there. Here you can see diversity of students coming from different backgrounds with the motive of best education which has 100% of performance and has achieved desired results in both studies and activities. TCSC is affiliated to Mumbai University and stands with Grade "A" given by NAAC and is also ISO certified. As per my experience this college is like cherry on the cake with professionally experienced teaching staff that is always ready to guide and help us, Management is of topmost with proper persons leading it.

Admission in this college can be done through an online portal where you need to login and create a password then you can see the option for online application where you have to fill the form and submit it by paying a nominal fee for application. Nowadays online form filling is encouraged after you complete your schooling and as per merit basis and location the college is assigned. TCSC is of Thakur trust and they have Schools for SSC and ICSE board. The college has various courses and crash courses offered in both Science and Commerce streams. It has its website where the students can easily check out the updates, results, upcoming events and attendance too. The college also offers placement to students in different industries according to their skills and knowledge.

Being a commerce student, I was under a B.Com course and was willing to excel in management and business studies as I wished to have my own startup. The department helped me through my studies and the teaching faculty were professionally trained under experts who were always ready to clear our doubts regarding a topic and provide with the required studying material. Studying from a reputed college gives a major turn because of the goodwill of college and your academic performance so you get more exposure to the actual market industry.

The eligibility of the course is judged according to merit list where students were ranked according to the marks. The college also conducted various seminars and interviews to give an overview about the current scenario of the market. The college serves the purpose of education in proper definition for a student's career with all the required skills in practical and theoretical knowledge.

There is no hostel facility provided here but food in the canteen and cafe is of good quality and tasty.

The college is considered the best in terms of infrastructure and campus as it has great and unique infrastructure which every student desires in college life and the campus here is big and friendly giving you a welcoming attitude where you can sit and relax, conduct activities, wait for your friends and pass your gala time etc. Interior wise the college is having great architecture, Cafeteria is indoor as well as outdoor too, Even a park kind garden is designed to sit and relax, it also has a temple inside it, even a bank is there with various shops like Xerox and cake is there, also ATM facility is provided, it also has great parking area inside and outside the college.

Here all the festivals and occasions are celebrated with love and affection by all the students and teachers with the connected staff. The college is also an active participant in sports and cultural events.
