Ghani Khan Choudhury Institute of Engineering and Technology B.Tech Review By Thunglanbeni Ezung

I got a seat in this college through CSAB counselling. I chose this college because the branch that I was interested in (Food technology) was provided in here and moreover, it was not very far from my State so it was convenient for me. I was an applicant of 2020 batch and unfortunately two years of my college was done online. Offline classes were started from my 4th semester and ever since the day I’ve entered this college it has been a roller coaster education ride for me. The teaching faculties and staffs are all very qualified in their respective fields that make learning so easy.

The first thing is that we need to get a seat in this college through JEE Mains or WBJEE. Although, this college had also been holding Entrance Exams recently. If you have a good JEE score or the required score than I don’t think there can be any barrier in the admission process. The college provides several courses like Civil Engineering, Food Technology, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering in both B.Tech and Diploma courses.

There is an enormous teaching faculty in each department. Each of them is well qualified in their respective fields. Majority or almost all the teaching faculties hold a PhD degree from reputed institutes. They are all well experienced and educated. They all are very dedicated and regular in teaching.

There are 4 major academic blocks as of now. One administrative block where all the official paperwork and college related works are done. Each academic block is equipped with laboratories, clean classrooms, washrooms, lift facilities, and broad hallways. The college also has a gym facility where all the students get free access.

I’ve been here in this campus for almost 2 years and it has been such a roller coaster experience for me. It was my first time experience of the life out of my state and it has been good. This campus makes me feel so at home. This campus is also ragging free and hence there’s no fear for any outsiders or fresher unlike other colleges.
