Central University of South Bihar BA+LLB Review By Rohini Mahrour

The faculty is hard working towards the students and make sure they excel their academics and remember it wherever they go in future. If you are pursuing law and you didn't end up in NLU or top Private university like SLS then I guess Central university is a good option. I couldn't clear CLAT in 2 attempts, but I cleared SLAT, MHCET and got Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pune respectively but being a middle-class child, I can't afford going that way easily and that's how it got me. I got BHU economics in main campus through CUET but won't pursue that since I already got CUSB.

For enrolling in B.A.LLB program in CUSB, you need to go through the Central University exam that is CUET which will be conducted again in 2024. You need is to study 12th NCERT and follow YouTube top channel making you prepare for CUET. Out of 650,500+ is safe score for CUSB B.A.LLB program. If you get NLU, SLS (if can afford), GLC, ILS then go there, if not come this college even you want to take another chance of giving CLAT. But don't take drop, a big no. CLAT and AILET is most unpredictable. They don't have any specific syllabus.

I directly talked to assistant professor who recently transferred to CUSB from BHU. He said the students are same with same curiosity of learning and CUSB is central university, but they are trying hard to act like NLU by providing same exposure and placements. And other faculties are also from BHU and JNU mostly including dean.

Placement cell has recently been started so it would take time. But in law all you need is connection with proper communication and skills. So wherever you go, it’s you who have to find internships and jobs. But trust me it won't let you make feel like local law colleges.

I wasn't allowed to enter in hostel since we have not been allotted till now. But know about specification- 3Bed sharing till your 5th year so if you like being alone in room, You have to sacrifice that dream. And common, without roommate how would you get the feel of colleges. Electronic appliances like kettle and hair straightner and etc are not allowed. Not sure if senior keeps or not. But being first year student, you need to avoid such things. Mess includes only vegetarian food for me. For laundry and iron, village/town people come and take according to your needs, but you would have to pay for such things since no college ever pays for such things.

Infrastructure is covering in 300acres. Now law infrastructure known as Chanakya Bhawan (Faculty of social science). Lifts are there and proper cleaning is there. Classrooms are much better than Allahabad university and bit better than BHU faculty. Moot Court are there and another department too. Canteen is there in middle of campus and SBI and ATM too. Just visit the campus once, you will get a vibe of supreme court coming down from Administration building of CUSB stairs.

Once a fest and not much cultural activities like other colleges. Focus is mostly on academics. You can't go home or anywhere out of campus without making contact with mom and dad to your warden. Hope it's not that strict as I think. The timing of campus is 8PM. If you think you would get late, call the warden way before.
