True review about Allahabad Degree College

Overall Rating
My overall experience was average as I don't like the management and teaching style of some professors. Also, the mindset of people is also not too good. But here you will get to see lesser politics and political issues, in comparison with other colleges under the University of Allahabad. If you are willing to appear in government exams, then BA course will help you a lot.
 

Academics Rating
The admission process is very easy, and you don't have to struggle much to get enrolled here. Anyone who passed class 12th and cleared the cut-off marks can get admission. Various undergraduate and postgraduate courses are available in this college. But keep that in mind most teachers teach in Hindi, so if you are not comfortable with that then go to another college. Some of my batchmates struggled a lot as they had to study subjects on their own and also had to make their notes.
 

Faculty Rating
Teachers have a lot of knowledge and experience, with which they guide to students, but some teachers are rude, and they just focus on completing their course and they don't care if students understand the concept or not. On the other hand, some teachers are completely different, they explain a single topic multiple times so that students understand that and also, they provide life lessons. Like my English professor, is a really good.

Infrastructure Rating
The college campus is not too big. There are two college campuses. For girls of course BA and B.Com, there is another campus. The rest of the students go to the main campus of Allahabad Degree College. The campus situation is not at all good, it requires to be maintained. And the garden on the back side looks like some sort of jungle. It didn't look like a college campus at all.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life was good, as my batch mates were very helpful and friendly. You just have to choose your friends wisely as in college, there are a lot of two-faced people. Politics is a general discussion, and everyone is interested in that and some chatra neta try to be part of the public hero and do a lot of stupid things.

    My overall experience was average in college. The college staff behavior is too rude and ignorant which is a major issue. Instead of that, all other things are fine.
